We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

NetherlandsWifi was spotty, 1 bathroom for 8ppl, hot water didn’t work & no curtain on beds. When I got there the WiFi didn’t work, someone was on the way to fix it. Once available, it was spotty where I had to constantly use my 4G. I’ve now learnt this is common in all the places I’ve stayed at. I was in a female bedroom for 8 people, where there was one bathroom with a shower and toilette. So if one was taking a shower for 1 hr the other 7 couldn’t even use the toilette. Alternatively a bedroom for 6 also had a shower and toilette in one, but on the hallway. So always in use by others. Again, also common in the area. When I went to take a shower, after someone had just taken a shower, after 90 seconds of starting with nice hot shower, there was no more hot water. Keep in mind, 8 people should be able to shower? I was second. Hard to get on the top bunks. Obviously doable but could be made easier. This is my preference, and I knew it coming in, but there was no curtains on the beds, so no privacy.
It did however have comfortable beds and setting with the rooftop. Food served was tasty and affordable. You can get out and walk the area, per say, and 5 minutes Auto to the airport T1! Next to a metro station for ease of transport, but I chose Autos which were very affordable for my trip budget. For the price I would expect a bit more.

The hostel staff is very friendly and i like connecting to people in this hostel. The ameneties are great and terrace is huge. The first night i saw terrace, it looked like a penthouse and we had a great party.

NetherlandsSuper nice rooftop terrace, people are very friendly. Huge lockers, also it includes breakfast and chai sessions in the afternoon. However I didn't like that there are no curtains in the dorms for the bunk beds, so very little privacy. Also as a western traveller I do need to say that I have stayed in many hostels before, however in India hostels are also quite commonly used by locals, and they tend not to respect quite hours. Think of people loudly calling family members at midnight or just watching Instagram reels with sound level 10.. bring sleeping mask and earplugs

IndiaLocomo is by far the best hostel I have stayed in mumbai. Very neat and clean property..washrooms are extremely clean and to my surprise, the cleaning team comes thrice a day to clean the room. Very well maintained hostel and perfect stay for backpackers..Staff is wonderful and kind.. well trained and professional..They have designated guy for carrying luggage he just comes on a whim for helping with luggage. Roof top lighting’s are so amazing and evening sunset with tea and music is mesmerising.

GermanyThe entrance to the building looked a bit strange, if not to say shocking (old entrance like no one lives inside the building), but once you reach the hotel on the 3rd floor, it is all okay. Also, there is a security guard downstairs, who can help to navigate.
A hostel with very European vibe. Fantastic rooftop, especially cozy in the evening - it was so nice to look down at busy Mumbai life. We felt very safe in this place. A lot of foreigners. The breakfast was limited but tasty and sufficient. Complimentary chai in the afternoon. Friendly and very helping staff. 3 min walk from the metro station that can bring you anywhere. Not far from the airport - the road was not busy. We enjoyed our stay and consider to come back.

BrazilI’ve arrived in the middle of the night and my bunk bed didn’t have any blankets on, just 3 pillows. The shower was a little cold for me. The location is not so good, 40-50 min by train till Colaba and the Fort Area, but it’s great if you’re flying the next day (10 min to the Airport by car)
The staff is great! Everybody is super polite and helpful. The bathroom is really clean. I’ve also loved the rooftop, pretty chilled out.

BelarusIt's not that I didn't like but something to keep in mind: as Mumbai is a big and expensive city, a lof of Indians move there for work and studies, and before they find proper accomodation, they stay in hostels (some for weeks, months, etc) with huge luggage. So that makes hostels lose a bit the travel vibe.
I liked this location of Locomo better than the other one in Santacruz (I stayed in both). This one is just a 2 min walk from the train station, very convenient. Also, this Locomo hostel has proper hot water in the shower and good water pressure. They have a very nice terrace with a good view to watch sunsets and socialize, also the social vibe at this hostel was better: I met some nice people. The breakfast was good too. You can also book tours via hostel or get useful reccomendations where to eat and so on. They can keep your luggage after check out.
