The owner, the wife at least, was very rude. I got sick and asked for a later checkout time but she asked me to pay half the room price extra (for just a one hour longer stay). I just left and slept in at the train station instead (where the upperclass waiting room is actually super nice all things considered!!). She basically kicked us out without any empathy. another thing is that they did not register us - to avoid taxes obviously - but she made us pay the whole amount. if you are looking to stay with a nice family, as a Homestay should be, this is not the place.

very nice place. a great haven amidst a chaotic indian city. the room was very comfortable!

Rooms need a lot of work in terms of cleanliness and I took the deluxe room so my expectations were not met at all. Facilities are also below par or less than basic. It is in all fairness a home stay but I will urge the owners to clean the rooms thoroughly so that guests can have a good stay. Please change the mattress and pillows which are not comfortable.

Aunty, who manages the kitchen, is a fantastic cook! She's also very caring and prompt.

There was no soap or towel provided. Light sleepers should bring earplugs as the lorries on the main road honk their horns all night.

The family who run the lodge are helpful and friendly. The food is made fresh for you and it's good value and very tasty. The room was very basic but I was expecting that. There wasn't anywhere to sit inside apart from the bed. There is a lovely covered veranda outside but it's not so great to sit out in during the evening due to the mosquitoes. The garden is a little oasis of calm. The location is great as it's only a few minutes walk to the bird park. Also if you've taken the bus from Agra you can jump off at Saras Circle and then it's very close to the hotel.

Only issue we felt was mosquitoes for which will recommend to carry mosquito replant cream additionally. Though they provided with all our but still carry additional odomos.

The food was really nice and aunty was such a great host and cook.both Ashokji and aunty were very welcoming and warm. We were traveling with our pets so we were sceptical....but our dogs Zara and Rustom really had a great time there is lot of open space for pets ..we really enjoyed our stay with them and if you are traveling with pets and need to stay close to the sanctuary this is the place....

Great place, great location at a walking distance from the park, and great hosts, with the mother being an excellent cook!
