We stayed in a room that had a large dome above the bed, during the night it sounded like the local monkeys were jumping on the dome, which was rather concerning. It wouldn’t stop me from staying there again, because the building itself was spectacular, but not sure if this is a regular occurrence or just because of a concert/fireworks due to a local holiday.

Beautiful building, large and spacious room. Bed was comfortable, and close enough to walk to everything, but generally quite quiet. They were very helpful, allowing us to borrow yoga mats so we could do a morning yoga session by the lake.

After reading the exuberant reviews it was hard for this hotel to exceed expectations - but it did! The setting in the courtyard is lovey, the rooms are carefully decorated, old elements of the building are preserved, modern equipment is added (kettle, good bathroom amenities, Wifi). Guests can enjoy sitting outside the room in an airy space, or at the roof top restaurant (we did not eat there). Location is great, set back a few streets from the crowded centre of Pushkar. Walking to the bus stand is easy for departure. All in all: a remarkable experience! Bonus: Guests do not need to buy drinking water: Just fill your bottle at the water filter at the ground floor.

WOW, this place is just stunning. When you enter the front door you feel like you have entered an Oasis. The rooms are so comfortable and beautifully decorated and all of the staff could not be more helpful. It is located in a great area, just a few minutes walk to the lake. We actually booked an extra night here because we didn’t want to leave. Thankyou to all the beautiful staff for a very memorable stay.

The only fault I found was the rooms weren’t too soundproof and pushkar can be quite noisy! But I asked if they had any ear plugs and they brought some up to my room - so kind!

Such beautiful rooms! Amazing staff & the restaurant on the top floor is sooooo good. Highly recommend staying here - it’s like staying in a palace!

I liked it all

The staff were very helpful and when you enter through the ancient door the courtyard is really impressive. I had a 4 bed room because it was the only one available as I booked late and it was like having two double rooms. There was hot water and a good shower and facilities to make your own hot drinks. The bed was comfortable and the whole place has a good atmosphere.The restaurant on the roof was good with nice staff, good food and not expensive.

The room I had was a little cramped but I still really loved the style and design.

It’s a beautiful peaceful quiet haven quietly tucked away in a quiet street. Such a unique building and setting. Beautiful plants and furniture. The manager welcomed me and was so helpful throughout my stays. I think it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in this time in India. And the room is totally dark and quiet’s.

I preferred the restaurant when it was not enclosed. I booked it because I had great memories of lounging on the couches on the roof top and eating the great food .

Very pretty place . Kind staff who were helpful and polite. Very nice food. Comfortable beds and room. Very atmospheric and perfect location. It was my third visit and we are extending our stay so we can return for 3 more nights.

Please provide the option of shampoo. Room cleaning for the bathroom and clean towels would be helpful for a longer stay. It’s hard to dry towels when electricity is switched off in the day when you are out of your room. A sink plug for shaving would be helpful. Some room maintenance is required. Rooms on the street can be slightly noisy until midnight; ear plugs work! The bed is very firm. Stairs are steep if mobility is an issue for you.

Staff were very helpful; the location is excellent. The courtyard and balconies create a lovely ambience. There is a small ‘her’ shop for gifts. The roof top sixth heaven restaurant has a delicious menu. Food is a hot temperature, delicious vegetarian food. The apple crumble was a delight! Fresh yoghurt and assorted fruit was lovely for breakfast. Filter coffee is offered. There is a small outdoor smoking terrace and an indoor glass fronted non smoking section. Heaters in room were essential- thank you. Water was sufficient and refillable. Toilet paper refills on request. Shower water was hot! We loved the decor and window shutters. A huge padlock door key was novel! WiFi was a sufficient strength. Tours offered. Travellers books left in room for interest/swap. We would stay again! The location to the ghats, Brahma temple and range of cafes is just perfect.
