Beautiful, peaceful place to stay! We finished out trip here and absolutely loved it. The pool was amazing to have, but being able to canoe to the beach was so lovely and a real highlight. Food was great, and staff were so attentive.

The property is very well maintained, immersed in nature and calm. The staff is very very friendly and helpful, they made our stay super comfortable. The connection to the beach goes through a little canal and is reachable by canoe. It's very nice around the sunset. The restaurant food is also very good and offers local cuisine. Super recommended!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome from the start of the stay. My favorite part of the stay was when we borrowed the canoe and went to the beach which was basically empty. The food was also very good and the spa treatment was excellent.

The outdoor bathroom didn't suit us since it was quite hot and humid outside. The bathroom was clean and large, but we would've preferred an indoor bathroom.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were large, comfortable and well-decorated. Everything was very clean. The pool and outdoor area were beautiful. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, we barely ate a meal anywhere else.

Flamingo Boutique Hotel & Ayurvedic Spa is an oasis of tranquility. Our room was well set up, comfortable and spacious with a nice view of the pool and gardens. The property is a short canoe ride to the beach, which we thoroughly enjoyed; then a stroll along in shallow waters to a neighbouring restaurant. However, the restaurant and staff at our hotel were second to none. Tom looked after our every dietary request and often tempted us with delicious local treats. The Spa is well priced and a really indulgent must do. We enjoyed our couple of days of pampering and would return in a heartbeat.

I had to book this hotel quickly so wasn't aware we didn't have a balcony with the room. Most rooms don't. The issue then was clients had to use the limited available seating areas which were not always available. This is a popular hotel because it is very good. This often meant the small garden and pool area often felt busy and crowded. But it is a Boutique Hotel I suppose.

This was a great hotel. Staff very friendly, particularly the staff in the restaurant. The food was excellent we ate there a few times. It's in a good location; we cycled to Marari Beach which was easy. The kayak ride to the beach was great but the beach area there is disappointing. A lot of trash from the sea; so not very appealing - hence the cycle ride to Marari Beach which is worth doing. There was always beer and wine available. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Nothing - it was a lovely stay, and we hope we get the opportunity to visit again.

Fantastic old house converted into a small hotel. It felt really comfortable and welcoming. Nice pool area and great food. Lovely bedroom with a very comfortable four poster bed. Beer and wine are available, and the guys went especially to get tonic water for me! We loved the short canoe journey to the beach where we spotted a tree full of kingfishers - a glorious sight.

I thought everything stated was exactly as said. The restaurant staff Tom and Aneesh were great. Food good value for money. Checkin with the two ladies V and ? Lovely. Man too help print my flight. Booked tuk tuks was great.

The breakfast had a lot of western options - likely catering to the tourists who stay here, which is fine, but I would have preferred more south Indian food.

I loved the location. The hotel is right on a canal, and you can canoe down the water to a private beach. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

It is very isolated. Would usually eat out a few times but not near an alternative at this time of year. But this isn’t a problem for 3/4 nights of relaxation.

Absolutely luxury. Beer, wine, pool, beach, sunshine. Restaurant on site for all meals. Happy and willing staff. This place is run by lovely people. Highly recommend- have done plenty of travelling (in India and generally) I really rate this place!

We had two stays at the Flamingo Boutique for 1 day and then 3 days shortly after because they are very popular.

We stayed in 7 different properties on our recent Kerala trip and would say that overall, Flamingo Boutique was the best. I cannot remember all the names but from Atul on the front desk, Vishnu and Tom in the restaurant that the entire team provided exceptional service. The food and the ambience are lovely as is the pool, rooms and decor. The added bonus are the free canoes that you can take down the river to the beach which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Loved every aspect of this resort. By way of positive criticism maybe replacing the room towels with new ones would be nice. They looked and felt a bit tired.

Very friendly staff and nice informal atmosphere with attention to detail. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Thank you Tom and other waiting staff. The resort was totally charming and we didn’t want to leave. Front of desk was very helpful and arranged cars, tuk tuks, birthday cake and a two hour cruise along the backwaters. Lovely pool for relaxing around. Was perfect.
