Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these areas, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TaiwanThe facilities definitely need to be updated. The room key and whole scan system are too outdated. Same as the room decoration and furniture. Frankly speaking, a self-rated 5 star hotel, the breakfast should be improved a lot. However, we stayed for up to 15 days, the restaurant staff asked us to order any food we like to eat so that we didn't face any problem with the limited choice of buffet breakfast. Moreover, the room airconditioner has a very bad direction of the wind, it goes right to your face and head when you are lying on the bed. We try to change rooms but every room is the same design. The housekeeping finally ended up sticking a sheet of newspaper on the air outlet.
Nice and quick response to the services. Very well done housekeeping services and room cleanliness.

IndiaChecking in and actually getting into the room took about 2 hours. This kind of experience should be avoided for any customer. For one day the lobby AC wasn't cooling or was shut off and we had to notify the staff and it took them some time to rectify. Anyways we decided to head off in the meantime.
The room was good. It was a connect room (as per booking details). Cleanliness was good. Staff is ok too. The price should have been better. Property is located very close to the commercial area in South Delhi. Buffet breakfast had reasonably good options and the food preparation was very good.

CanadaWifi access is limited to 2 devices unless one asks at the front desk. Nowadays, with a smart phone, smart watch and a laptop/tablet, 3 devices are the minimum. I was asked to pay for snacks that i didn’t take, but they believed me and didn’t have to pay. It was their mistake.
Its location near the mall. The staff was courteous and very willing to help. Glass or plastic water bottle; fridge; kettle and a lot more.

SpainFirst, I had booked (specifically) a king bed room but I was given a twin room, with very short (I am tall) and narrow beds (claiming that there were no king room available in the hotel at that time). They promised to change the room for me the next day, but that never happened until the end of my stay (3 nights). Second, on my arrival, they showed me the room I had been assigned and I had to decline it because of the strong smell of smoking inside (in spite of their non-smoking policy). The receptionist was kind enough as to showing me a second room (which had an even worse smell of smoking), then a third one (which I kept, since the smell was almost neutral, although not 100%). Third, the rooms are a little small for a 4-star (5-star according to other booking platforms) hotel, but comfy (as a solo traveler it was ok for me). Fourth, in the restaurant, they have an ambient music. One single song. It is not even a song. It is rather a short phone ringtone which repeats over and over again, becoming really annoying. Breakfast was short, so I managed to ignore it but, at dinner, I has to ask the waiter to either change it (which they can’t) or stop it altogether (which they fortunately did on my request). This is not necessarily a negative review, but rather as a suggestion that I hope the hotel management will read and consider for the future. Last, the rates were a bit pricey considering the size of the rooms and beds, but I guess it is the location and the cleanliness what the travelers pay for (as an added value).
The hotel has a nice design and it is located in a high-end area, at 20-30 minutes, by car or tuk-tuk, from the most important attractions in Delhi (including the railway station). Rooms are clean (they are cleaned on an everyday basis). Bedsheets and towels are clean and sanitized (smell bleach) and changed every day too. Detailed toiletry provided in the bathroom (including a dental or a shave kit). The restaurant has a considerable variety of food (a la carte) and tasty preparation. Breakfast also has a decent variety and good quality food.

Norway1. We booked 2 rooms one of which was supposed to be the Premium room and the other was regular room. We found no difference between the two in terms of amenities and siz and there was no Extra Large Double Bed as was written in the options. We paid more than INR 4000 more for no extra comfort or amenities 2. We took the No Breakfast option and the price for breakfast for each pax was advertised as INR350 (4,0 Euro approx) When we were settling the bill the hotel insisted we pay INR650 plus tax (7 Euro plus tax) for each pax breakfast which we refused to pay. The staff had some explanation that they charge more raegrdless of what is mentioned in Booking.com which made no sense to us. We challenged this demand and we stuck to the price that was given in Booking.com. and settled the bill at INR350(4E). However later I got a call from the hotel Manager insisting we had paid less and they demanded we pay up the balance. We told the hotel to take up the matter with Booking.com and settle the issue. We are deeply dissatisfied by the Hotel's attitude towards this whole incident.
the location and behaviour of the staff. Centrally located and walking distance to some of the best malls and food places in Delhi.
