The drive way is very steep so be prepared to be sweating after trekking up it hahah.

In a nice little area. If you are like me and rely on public transport. This place is relatively close to the main bus stand in Anachal. The room was very comfortable. Nice big bathroom with solar hot water.

Helpful and very friendly owners, clean beds, room and bathroom. Kitchen available. Lovely location on secluded hill, although road leading to hostel is very steep. Shops and bus stop just 5 minutes away.

Absence of toilet paper, but it was not a big deal since everything was perfect

Very good location, super value for your money and very clean. Just 700 m away from Anachal center where you can find everything and can also take a 20 min public bus drive from Munnar. Also you can walk to tea gardens for a view. Also property is right in the nature so you can wake up with birds’ songs. Owner family is super friendly. They helped me a lot. I felt like home. They treated me like I am their brother. Real Indian hospitality. Thank you so much.

The location, always had to think twice while Climbing up to the stay, but it makes it isolated and peaceful, so it's good only.

The place is amazing. Being an solo backpacker, i loved the place. Feels like 5 star. The manager Shaiju is very friendly, always up for a conversation and information. Property has terrace, balconys, hikes nearby.

The last 100m to the Hostel are pain 🥲😂 Very steep and getting Up with the Backpack needs good condition, but 100% worth! ;)

Just a great Location and very nice and clean rooms! A beautiful View from the balkony on top of the Hostel, which is accesable for everyone! The owner was such a nice and helpful Guy, he gave us good advice for daytrips and helped with the booking of my Sleeper-Bus for next day!

They close the gates at 22:30, just something you should know in advance.

The owner was very nice, the area was beautiful, view from the rooftop amazing. It's a big house in the middle of nature, great place for calming down.

I liked everything!

A lovely, clean and comfortable hostel run by a very kind owner! The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were modern with excellent showers and the rooftop has a great view. The owner was exceptionally kind and gave great advice of a solo walk to do in the area and two (good value for money) guided walks, all of which were spectacular. He also booked early tuk tuks for me when needed in the mornings. A great spot to meet like-minded people who appreciate nature and the peace and quiet of Munnar. I would definitely recommend to those looking for a small but sociable hostel with a family-run feel.

The Place is awesome with balcony and terrace for yoga. Everything great but the hill up and down is a bit annoying but you get a quiet and nice view:)

You climb up a Very steep hill to get to the accommodation.

The place was located in a quiet neighborhood. It is within walking distance to the main town and buses. A wonderful view of the stars from the rooftop.

- very clean room and bathroom - lovely view from the balcony - common area, where we met very nice people :) - fridge and kitchen - silent, far from the noisy streets Info for travellers: this accomodation is not in Munnar, it is located in a place called Anachal. If you would like to visit Munnar you'll have to take a tuktuk or the bus. If you would like to eat you have to walk down to the village and after up to the residency. It is a quite steep road.

A surprisingly good hostel for all the international backpackers. A simple but spacious dormitory room, a breathtaking view from the rooftop. The location is calm, compared to other nearby hostels.
