Renovated rooms. Perfect, spacious, very clean. Good and quality beds. The breakfast is incredible, variety and quality. The location is perfect, 10 minutes from the old city. Mahmud's attention was incredible, he was attentive to us all the time, his recommendations and instructions were perfect. He proposed activities and visits to us. A 10 for him too.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. A towel warmer/clothes dryer in the bathroom would have been appreciated.

We left a shirt on the closet and when I called two days later they said they couldn’t find it and were very unhelpful. We tried to call multiple times but they never answered the phone

The staff was exceptional, especially front desk clerks, Chen and Mahmoud! Both Chen and Mahmoud went far and above to assist me with ordering food delivery, taxi service, in a very sincere and caring manner. Chen and Mahmoud are top notch staff members that deserve special recognition!

One should check out all of the room services before unpacking. Our room telephone did not work, and was never fixed. The closet door needed to be "fixed" so we could open drawers. While the technicians tried to resolve problems, and the room attendants were "attentative", management was not as responsive as we would have expected. One should also find out if there is an "event" planned for your time of stay. The very nice lobby/dining area was convrerted into an event room for a family event. For those not part of that event, it was quite inconvenient.

Very good location for our needs. Shabbat meals were very good, weekday breakfast was also good. Room layout was at expectations.

We arrived at 7pm and when we checked in we realized our beds had lots of hair and wasn't cleaned properly. It was my mom and I traveling and there was short black hairs on top of the bed covers and also inside the bed. So they sent someone to change our sheets and this took about 45minutes. Also the shower had so many hairs and our door lock never really locked good thing it's in a safe city. Won't ever be going back to this hotel mind you it's not a super cheap place yet the quality is not good. I'll leave pictures

The location is excellent right near shopping and restaurants on BenYehuda St. and very close to the Jaffa Gate to get to the Old City to tour all the religious sites. All in walking distance The breakfast was not to my liking, old fruit, canned oj, but it didn't matter as I did not go for the free breakfast. The room has plenty of portals to charge phones, a nice window that opened looking into a residential area, very good for the money. The staff were very helpful, even assisting us get back to the airport by taxi plus train which saved us money. I would definitely return to this hotel if visiting Jerusalem and highly recommend it. We stayed in 3 other hotels the week we were on vacation, and this is the Only one I would recommend. We are a family of 3, husband wife and daughter. We had 1 room.

- Wifi not reaching well the upper floors rooms - Breakfast was okay, but the scrambled eggs had allmost no taste, bad quality juices - Reception desks employees not warm nor welcoming, not saying good morning / good afternoon, not smiling - No vew on the city or at least on something nice - Temperature very cold at the lobby and breakfast area, you can get sick - Employees serving themselves at breakfast at the same time as the guests, to me this was very unprofessional - Check out time at 11am. but cleaning lady already knocking twice from 10am - When you open the window of the bedroom instantly several flies get in as below are the bins - Reception desk booked a tour for us to the Dead Sea, but we ended up on the way back to go to Palestine which was not what was agreed on; we had to wait 1h in the car while the driver made his groceries, he drove quite aggresively and almost got us stuck at check-point entry to Tel Aviv per his attitude and as we didnt plan to take our passports with us, we could have been in big trouble because of him!

- Location is ideal, close to the old city, the train station, the shops and the market - Recently renovated, looking good!

Have walked past the hotel many times, but this was my first stay. Relatively small establishment but very friendly staff. Decor in communal areas and rooms was fresh, modern, and clean. Comfortable room where I spent part of each day working. Great breakfasts. I've stayed in a number of the larger hotels over the years, but this smaller hotel seems more attentive. Thanks to its great location, I would definitely plan to stay here again on my next trip.

There is nothing I didn't like about the hotel

The stay at Montefiori Hotel made my stay in Jerusalem and Israel exceptional. Everything was absolutely great about this hotel - the tasty and generous Israeli breakfast, the location near lively Ben Yehuda Street and the quiet Rehavia district, the public transport links in its proximity, as well as the comfort, size and cleanliness of our room. After the busy days of exploring the city, it was such a pleasure to be able to rest in our comfy and quiet room, recharging our batteries by watching the TV with the built-in You Tube Channel, or taking a nap. The hotel staff was amicable and attentive and the manager of the hotel, Mr Firas, went out of his way to make our stay as memorable and comfortable as possible, helping us with arranging the trips to the Old City and transport to the airport. He also provided us, in a very courteous and comprehensive manner, with any advice or information we might have needed. Also, he took care of allocating us a room on the first floor with a large bathroom with a shower unit, which more than adequately met my disability needs (I have mobility issues and walk with the help of a walking stick). This was particularly helpful during the Shabbat when the lift service was limited. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the hotel, and would definitely book it in the future.
