Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesLora in reception has been rude. she told me I am new and I had the feeling that I saw her in my last visit to Tel AVIV in same hotel. she answered by "you are telling me that I was here, I know very well. and you are rude" probably my mistake but it wasn't my intention to be rude and I wasn't. very polite with my words. I apology to here and explain that I wasn't my intention to make a feel like that. I won't stay anymore in the hotel. when you are travelling for more than 4 weeks in a raw and you expect people can keep a normal conversation.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is badly in need of an update. Everything was shabby and worn; many things were just plain dirty. The mattress in our room was stained, and was covered by just a thin sheet. We had to ask for a second top cover because the one provided was so thin. Both top covers were stained in multiple places. The headboard was dirty and stained from previous guests resting their heads against it. The window curtains were torn and dirty. The windows themselves were so covered in dirt that it was impossible to enjoy the view of Tel Aviv. Although the breakfast buffet has a nice variety of food, the cleanliness was poor. The placements - which would be such an easy thing to replace - were stained and dirty. We also had to exchange the coffee cups at our table because several of them had not been washed well. This was a really disappointing stay for us.
The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of options. The water pressure in the shower was good.

NetherlandsUpon arrival I had to find out that the gym was closed for maintenance (nothing on the website). The alternative they offered was 25 mins away by taxi..... Room is poorly maintained. The bathroom is full of chalk and wet spots. Deep cleaning seems not to be done for years. The windows were that dirty (mud) that looking outside was almost impossible. Cleaning was most probably done a long time ago...
Leonardo Israel used to be (app 5-6 years ago) a nice reasonably priced alternative in Tel Aviv (which they still are in other countries (Netherlands and Germany). Now there is any good. Hotels are simply outworn

United States of AmericaDisappointed that the gym and spa were closed. Our room was awful from the moment we entered. heat was insufficient, vault was broken and the bathrooms need to be updated because an accident is waiting to happen as one gets out of the shower . If that were not enough, there was a leak in the room, even placing 5-6 towels on the floor , did not help. Towels were soaked. No one came to investigate. Coffee machines in restaurant were broken. Not sure if we could stay in this hotel again.
Staff was friendly and tried to provide assistance. Shout out to the managers Arnit and Ofra who always go above and beyond. Location of the hotel is the only good feature. We have been coming to this hotel for at least 15 years and we were so disappointed by how the hotel has deteriorated. Another shout-out to Jefferson from housekeeping.

from when i walked in, the staff was friendly and helpful. I was upgraded to an executive suite without even asking for it. Kudos to Rona, the concierge-- i wanted a manicure and she found a technician who came to my room. Rona was exceptional and followed up to ensure that I was satisfied

ItalyWorst experience I’ve ever made in a hotel. The second night I was there, I noticed a communicant door to another room where at 2 AM they were listening to music very loudly, and had s*x. After that they were screaming each other. I called the security which just asked them to calm down.. they did for few minutes, and then started again, so I didn’t sleep. The last day I asked to change the bed sheets, since the colleague in my room was changing. They didn’t do that and asked to us to change the bedsheet by ourselves by taking a cleaned one from another room. This is not a 4 stars treatment. So I asked for a partial refund: not possible, so at least to pay for an airport shuttle, they said yes, and booked the shuttle. I thought the deal was done, until the day after where I needed to pay 60 euros by myself because they didn’t want to. I was there for business reasons, I needed to sleep in order to work correctly the day after. This is not a treatment worth 200 euros/night. If I’d wanted to change bed sheets by myself I could have booked a hostel, at least there I would have paid 40 euros per night.
The position was perfect, next to the company and close to the train station.
