We received two single beds instead of double bed. Bedroom was rather spartan, but overall satisfactory for a one night visit.

My initial room had broken aircon and no tea making facilities. It wasnt until my aircon completely broke that I moved to a new room and found the tea making facilities available. Having two single beds pushed together without proper bedding meant you still could only sleep on one side. No WIFI available in the hotel rooms, only in the lobby/reception area.

The view from the rooms were amazing. The Pool was fantastic, refreshing large, great shade options. The buffet breakfast was filling and tasty. The people in the restaurant were beautiful to all guests and visitors. Great location and easy walk into Independence square for all your restaurants and cafes. The reception staff were accommodation when my aircon broke and ensured I was provided a new room.

We were offered a room on the 8th Floor as they said at reception that they had been refurbished. Very disappointing. Shabby chair and table in the room. I had to ask for a rail to put in the wardrobe to hang our clothes on. Air con only blew hot air so we had to keep the balcony door open to cool down. No fresh fruit salad at meals. Only cake for desserts. No ice cream. No breakfast on the final day - we were given a paper bag with food in it, but I can't eat wheat so couldn't eat bread or croissants.

The breakfast was not good. Most of the food tasted stale. Also, when I checked in, I was asked for money. I showed the email to say I'd paid and my bank statement to show money had been taken. The guy started shouting that he wouldn't give me a room. He asked for my card as security. I said I'd show it to him but didn't want to hand it over. He grabbed it out my hand. I would not stay again

The hotel is now dated and tired. The bedrooms were shabby at best, and some seemed dilapidated. The room we stayed in the first night - we arrived late - featured ill fitting furniture that had seen better days. The worst part was the black mould on the walls round the aircon unit. The next two rooms we were shown were little better. I ended up paying to upgrade to a larger room. This was far nicer, but still the furniture was dinked and the grouting in the bathroom was blackened in places.

The location is great, the views likewise. The sun deck at the front of the hotel offers an enjoyable well appointed space. The breakfast offered good choices.

Some things were not working great - the safes didn't work. One room had no tv remote. But whenever we asked the desk about fixing something they were responsive and helpful.

The beach view was great! I liked that here were table and chairs in the room and it was plenty spacious for 2 people.

Wrbsute said swimming pool would be open from 1 April. We arrived on 4th April and it was still closed.

The rooms were so dirty, we tries 4 different ones, on 3 different floors, till we were satisfied, and even then, we asked to change the dirty blankets. This is truly un acceptable! It was tolerated only thanks to the exceptional staff( Anatoli)and the location.

Everything was pleantifuul and delicious. The staff were polite and helpful.
