Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe beach next to the hotel didn’t have a lifeguard when we were there so had to walk a few minutes north to find a beach with a lifeguard. We wanted late check out but the hotel was fully booked to we only got half an hour (much is still something).. Two small things- I would recommend adding hooks on the top of the door of the room to prevent kids opening it. And also there should be a mat or strips in the bathtub to prevent slipping.. There’s no pool unfortunately..
Small, quiet and extremely well located hotel. Just a couple minutes walk from the breach which we could see from our window. High value for price especially when compared to other nearby locations. The room was very pleasant with a fridge, microwave and some dishes just in case we wanted to make something in the room. The size was just right for us- a couple with two kids (aged 6). We took a suite- The couch opens up to two beds and the bedroom had a queen size bed. The breakfast was very nice and varied- with an option of eggs made as wanted; cheeses, veggies, some sweets, spreads and a few kinds of bread. Fresh orange juice was given per table. And when my daughter slept in late they gave me a paper plate to take her breakfast. There is also a small parking garage under the hotel which is very nice seeing as parking in Tel Aviv is scarce and expensive.. Nice staff whom all tried to accommodate as well as possible. All and all highly recommend- if I go back to tel Aviv on vacation I’m very likely to try again!

IsraelLack of parking and any information about parking around the hotel. Bad smell outside the room (6th floor).
Location is good. Room is good enough, but give you an expression of non finished renovation: wardrobe is only doors for empty space... Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

United StatesThe furniture is somewhat dated; that said, it made me feel very at ease, like I wasn’t afraid to mess things up. Because I tracked sand into the room every day.
The location is remarkable! It was a dream come true to be able to gaze upon the sea and beach from the comfort of the couch, desk and balcony. You can walk to tons of places or grab a bus or scooter within steps. The staff is lovely. Friendly and low key. The breakfast is great and there are lots of options.

Czech RepublicThe aircondition could have been more quiet.
Very good breakfast, close to the beach and free parking in the property, which is exceptional in TLV. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The window insulated well against the outside noise (the hotel is close to busy streets).

United StatesNo swimming pool (but I understand this was like a business hotel). A bit old hotel. All was excellent .
Location was just 2 minutes walking from the beach of Tel Aviv. The staff were amazing. Rooms were mostly very clean. There was a balcony where you could dry up your swimming suite in a chair.

United StatesThe shower could have been a little bigger, but it was NOT a big deal.
What I liked and what I considered most important....the staff made me feel at home -vs- a business transaction. The view, lobby, breakfast and parking, added to my stay. Parking in Tel Aviv is tough. I would come back again without any hesitation.

United StatesPretty much everything was great. The location is great, right at the sea promenade. Breakfast was awesome, served by the chef Yuri himself. Everything was spotless. The staff was the friendliest and the most helpful in the world. Our room was spacious (we had a mini suite), with large bathroom with all new fixtures, our balcony facing the beach.
