There was nothing to complain about—all great!

This property is excellent on all counts! From the moment we arrived, Michael and Ann were perfect hosts. We enjoyed a large room with a lovely ensuite, comfortable bed, amazing breakfast and lots of suggestions for touring and local restaurants.

Next time we go, we will probably rent a car since the location is around a lot of unique places to go to.

The breakfast was very tasty. They had a nice selection to choose from, including an Irish breakfast which we were so thrilled to try. Ann's scones were amazing! We were asking about a laundry facility since it was the second half of our trip. Michael suggested a great place to go in Oranmore, even gave us a ride there since we didn't have a car! Superb hosts and rooms.

    Leaving :-(

Arrived on the bike after a long day on a section of the TWAW, perfect! Michael & Ann are the perfect host's at their fantastic home B&B in a great spot, with a warm and genuine welcome from when you arrive, to a warm and genuine send-off when you leave. Comfortable bed, great atmosphere, super clean, and a class breakfast!! Every morning they freshly baked soda bread and scones, both I wouldn't really entertain, especially at breakfast, but when there's a basket on your table and knowing they've made every effort to make your stay comfortable and then they go bake these...you just had to...well...they are v.good :-) and my partner who likes scones, said they are the best she's EVER had, so. The full Irish Breakfast...class class class ;-) All very tasty, and who'd of thought just a simple couple of cherry tomatoes on the vine would be so good too, so credit to their daughter for her skills in the kitchen :-)

There are no complaints at all.

The lodge is very lovely and a very comfortable place to sit outside. The rooms are very nice, beds comfortable. The breakfasts can be substantial if you so choose or as light as you might prefer. Ann and Michael are wonderful hosts. Ann is an absolute delight…friendly, funny and very helpful. We so enjoyed her!! The lodge is close to the centre to walk for dinner. A great place to stay!!

A Wonderful Apartment in a Great Location.

Only booked 1 night, wish we had based there longer! Other than that, there was nothing we didn't like.

Oranmore was one of our last stops on our 7 day road trip around southern Ireland and, to be honest, we didn't have huge expectations based on some of the earlier trip experiences (eg value for money) ........... but this place really was the gem of our trip. When I booked this place there was the option to book 'the apartment' and, as it was pretty much our last proper night, I decided to treat us. Upon arrival at this immaculate property we were greeted by Michael who owned and ran Oranhill Lodge with his wife Ann. Michael was brilliant giving us some tips for the local watering holes in the village, and he did an excellent handover of the apartment. The place is modern, very well appointed and immaculate. It was also very peaceful, the only noise was the birds chirping in the morning. After a great night in the village pubs (only a 5 minute walk) we slept perfectly and went across to the main house for breakfast. Everything had been thought about and breakfast was fab. Everyone seemed to turn up for breakfast at the same time but Michael and Ann had it all under control. To summarise, this was easily our favourite place on our 7 day road trip and Michael & Ann are both wonderful, friendly, and well organised hosts.

I can't think of a single complaint. The closest thing I can think of is that the property could use one more parking space, but they found room for our car and it worked out well.

Michael and Ann were very friendly and helpful hosts during our 3 day stay. Michael in particular looked out for our best interests more than once, providing excellent restaurant recommendations; and he made sure that we were not late for our morning ferry to Inishmore and the Cliffs of Moher ("I've never had anyone miss their ferry and I'm not about to start now"). We had a great conversation with the hosts the morning we left. All in all a lovely stay. Oranhill Lodge was a perfect location for our Galway visit's home base. Would gladly stay again.

We loved the kindness of the hosts, available for suggestions and tips about the area. An amazing place to stay and enjoy your vacation in County Galway. Perfect distance from Galway city if you go by your own mean of transport, but you'll find restaurants and lidl 2 mins away from the house. Breakfast included was very good!
