A suggestion to replace a mattress in a twin room as the springs were a bit creeky. I like a good mattress on a bed. Softer pillows would help. They are easily got in Homestore feather and down and not expensive. Coffee not great. Instant. Cheese platter excellent.

The view in the breakfast room of the Atlantic superb. Quite place no noise. Nice big bathroom. Staff friendly. Cheese plate nicely presented for breakfast.

Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was fab and the views were awesome! We were on motorbikes and when we came out in the morning one of us had a flat tyre - staple stuck in the tread! Mauris, the owner was fab, helped us with a compressor, we tried to fix but our repair kit was faulty so a call was made to one of the staffs husband who came with a repair kit a fixed our puncture! Fabulous Irish hospitality! Thoroughly recommend staying here as nothing is too much trouble 😄👍

Great BnB in a beautiful location directly at the sea. Very kind staff, cosy rooms, excellent breakfast. Wifi works really good in the common areas, but not in the guest rooms.

Wished there was AC in the rooms, Ireland had a heat wave during our stay, and it was hot in the upstairs room.

Very welcoming hosts. A great twin room with plenty of light and a view of the castle. Breakfast was very filling. We took the advice of the owner and headed into a nearby town for dinner which worked out great. We didn't go to the beach but it was close enough you could have. The upstairs bathroom has a nice tub to use and ample space.

Not that I didn't like the bathroom, but it could do with a shower screen over the bath so water doesn't go all over the floor.

We LOVED this B&B! It is in a great location! Breakfast was perfect! Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet. The room snacks, tea, milk, water was refreshing from long day out exploring! The staff was very attentive and kind!! The view of the ocean was a bonus for us! Eating breakfast while eating breakfast was wonderful!

Everything was fine. While WiFi was available it really only worked in the lounge area.

The staff were very helpful, nothing too much trouble. The location was lovely on the coast, and breakfast was excellent. There were great places to walk. A bit of a drive to hotels for dinner but that's to be expected.

We were travelling (3 of us) on our motorbikes, going around the coast (Wild Atlantic Way). The Old Castle B&B was superb, very quiet at night. First of all, the location was really inspiring. All you have to do is get up early in the morning and take a walk along the sea shore. Beautiful place. The B&B was really clean, comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. We left sad but happy.

Wasn't sure how to adjust shower, so ended up having cold one, tried adjusting both ways to see if it would get hot. But it was a minor problem for me.
