Could use more pots/pans in the kitchen. Some personal stuff was around the house . The door didn't lock so we had to bungee cord it shut.

We liked that we had the entire place to our selves. We were glad we arrived during daylight because it is a bit difficult to find in the dark. We liked the kitchen. Liked the living room. Beds were comfortable. Very quiet place to sleep!

Beautiful location on a hill top. The lodge looks like a converted stable on a sizable estate. Everything was top notch. The friendly cats made my daughter’s day.

Such a lovely little place with ample room and beautiful views to wake up to. Well accommodating with the two bedrooms and sofa bed. The hosts were fantastic in giving precise instructions on how to find the accommodation. Would definitely stay here again.

The paintings on outside wall were beautiful, the house was lovely and warm and very modern and cosy, kids loved the Xmas tree and selection boxes, all the board games and books and toys were brilliant for them.

Accommodation perfect, comfortable and clean. Plenty to do in local area including local pubs and not far from Cork. Well suited for families with large outdoor playing area and indoor toys also.

Modern, spacious and comfortable house with everything you need. Exceptionally well thought out for families with young children with a playground, toys, stairs gate, highchair, cot etc and plenty of space to run around. The hosts were super and my girls loved playing with their children. Thank you for a lovely stay and we hope to visit again!

For me the mattress was too soft as I like a firm mattress. But that’s just personal preference. I still slept well.

You think you are going to get lost but then you are there. Very remote. But worth the drive!

The hostess is great and super personable. If you need any information about where to go she is the one to ask. She has a lot of knowledge about the area. Place is clean, beautiful area and comfortable.

It was a fantastic space to relax and the beds were comfy so I got a great sleep. Very handy location as we were €20 taxi ride to Rosscarbury where we had dinner reservations. Also lots of recommendations of what to do in the surrounding areas on the table. Marcella was great to communicate with and very quick to respond to any queries we had which was much appreciated as it makes everything less stressful.

Shower was luke warm and could not be adjusted. Poor sound insulation between the apartments. Main bedroom smelt of cigarettes.

The lodge is so nice as the photos don’t do it justice. It’s comfortable and clean and warm and the shower was excellent. The host was excellent for any communication. We are hoping to go back in the summer and get more use out of the outdoor areas and do more exploring in local towns. We wanted a quiet few days for New Years and it was perfect.

The house was beautifully located in the peaceful countryside. Marcella and family were so lovely and helpful and went above and beyond to help us with our car troubles. There were lots of beautiful places to visit, big, clean beaches, gorgeous walk above Lough Hyne, interesting museums in Skibereen and Clonakilty. One highlight was the pretty village of Glandore nearby where we had the best ever Seafood chowder at Hayes Bar and kitchen.
