Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South KoreaThe suite we had was very visible to anyone at the pool or restaurant due to the expansive glass windows/doors, so if you wanted privacy or a bath/shower that meant you missed out on the incredible views due to the curtains needing to be completely shut on all sides. There was limited space for lounging by the main pool and the way it is built makes it so. Surprisingly for being a resort, there were limited cocktails and drinks at the resort. I had some gluten-free options but not as easy as I thought it would be. My husband and I actually went and had wonderful massages, drinks, and food at the neighboring resort Alena for some variety as you are in a very remote area and the menu can get redundant after a while.
The breakfast was great and the servers were able to get me gluten-free bread. The pools are nice and you can technically have a private pool if you look around the premises to survey the different areas. The classes were great and surprisingly few people attended Yoga/pilates in the morning. One morning I had a private yoga class because no one showed up! Although the first morning was busy, so you never know what you'll get, except fantastic classes. The Balinese classes were also informative and worth attending. They do have fair prices for cosmetic procedures at the dermatologist on-site but you'll need to book this prior to your stay most likely. I didn't realize booking the honeymoon suite meant having the floral arrangement done in the bathtub as pictured in the photos which was a fun surprise. The shuttle between Ubud and the resort was fantastic but it is a trek to get to Ubud now with the crazy traffic that never seems to let up in Bali.

CanadaI thought dinner menu was not super exciting so we went back to town - shuttle is free but only runs every 1 to 2 hrs and resort is about 50k idr cab ride using on line service Ubud offers many great restaurant options. I think we got better value in other places we stayed but it is very beautiful
This is a lovely resort offering complementary morning and late afternoon yoga as well as cultural experiences - like making Balinese dinner accompaniment and daily offering - both we really enjoyed Beds and pillows were so comfortable and breakfast was lovely as was Balinese afternoon coffee and snack

It was an amazing experience in a very authentic and well designed atmosphere. Property itself was hilarious, we loved it. All the staff were so polite and checking all the time if we needed anything. I d definitely stay again if I come Ubud.

AustraliaI would say the pools need more seating areas. There are not many places to lie down by the pool.

ItalyThis resort completely lived up to expectations. We enjoyed this place so much we stayed another day. The service and food was superb. The room was clean and we loved the jacuzzi and the private pool. The wellness activities (Yoga, Soundhealing and etc) were excellent for our soul. The spa at the resort is so peaceful and serene, we used it several times. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

CanadaRooms were very nice and spacious. I loved the bath tub. The breakfast was great - it was a la carte style for mains (lots of options) with buffet style for sides. There were 2 large pools one for kids and one for adults and it was very nice and long. I enjoyed all the activities (yoga Am/Pm, morning walk, Balinese class). There was a shuttle to Ubud centre every two hours which was very convenient. It took awhile to get there though (not property’s fault, the traffic in Ubud is very bad) All the staff were lovely and so helpful.

AustraliaThey should have more options in house food. An investment in a good coffee machine. Insects are a problem in the resort, the staff is really helpful, but some people have phobias of certain insects.

NetherlandsIncredibly pretty and calm space outside the hussle and bussle of busy Ubud city. The facilities were great & so was the offering of free sports sessions & activities. The breakfast is a mix of snacks at a buffet & a rich menu you can chose from, which tasted very nice. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, they spent hours with us on the customer service of our Indonesian phone provider to help us fix our issue. Also, after our stay they texted us about a lost travel pillow and offered to refund it, if we haven’t found it yet. Amazing service! Thanks a lot for all your help ☺️ we would definitely come back.

IndiaA bit far everything you have to go to Ubud centre but it is worth the effort I think.
Really helpful staff and they went extra mile to take care of us. Especially the Restuarant staff. Lush green property away from the hustle bustle of the city centre. Good for spending quiet time. Chef and Restuarant surprised us with a brownie on my birthday. Really loved the wholesome and unforgettable experience for both of us. One of the best stays of our entire Bali vacation. Wi-Fi was good as well. TV had Netflix shows. You can walk around in entire property and few close to nature.

Any 5 stars hotel will provide a little surprise/special occasion present. But Nyuh gave nothing, not even a slice of cake, not even a congratulatory saying. :( disappointing

JapanThis property has a hotel wing and a villa area, we stayed in a 4-bedroom villa and a hotel wing. The villa area was completed five years ago, and the hotel building opened one year ago. The hotel rooms are still new and stylish, but our villa looked a little tired. The view of the garden is not good because the plants are not well managed. There is no water dispenser so the water provided is not enough. The linens were of very good quality, but were frayed and stained. Also, the cleaning is not perfect. I found a lot of hair. However, the cleanliness is above normal for Bali standards. If you don't close the curtains in the hotel wing, you can see inside the room from the room facing you. The taste of the food is not the best, but it is up to standard. The presentation is very good.
There are many free services offered. This is the perfect hotel for couples or solo travelers. It's a little far from Ubud city, but shuttles run regularly so it shouldn't be a problem. This hotel will appeal to those who want to spend time in a quiet and green environment. The hotel wing has a beautiful long swimming pool. you can swim far enough and it's like a river. What's more, free activities are held daily, so you can have plenty of fun at the hotel. The staff always have a smile on their faces and I am impressed by their courteous service. The structure of the building is solid, the materials used are of good quality, and the interior design is wonderful. The facilities in the room are very good and the bed and pillows are nice and comfortable. Our villa room had two air conditioners and the bathroom also had an air conditioner. There is enough hot water in the shower. The large bathtub is also filled with hot water. This is rare in a Bali hotel. Bath gel and bath salts are also provided. The villa rooms do not have reading lights, but the hotel wing rooms have one.
