Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomBaby cot wasn’t great, mattress was too soft. Also some towels are a bit broken so replace them will be nice for a 5 star hotel, also we had to ask a couple of times for towels for the baby so will be good for them to have in mind. This are suggestions for the future, we had an amazing and we’d be back for sure.
Everything, from the moment you get to there, the gardens, the villa with private pool is amazing, like a little paradise, very comfortable and big room, nice outdoor bath and shower. The public pools are also super nice looking at the jungle. Food is delicious, we ate there most of the days. There is not much around to do and ubud is about 35 min ride so not very convenient if you travel with young kids but as I said we were there to enjoy the hotel, and even 6 days you don’t get bored. There is classes everyday and spa treatments are good too. We love it and highly recommended

New ZealandI had the most amazing healing experience at the Ubud Nyuh Bali. It was such a peaceful and rejuvenating stay, surrounded by the resort's serene atmosphere and lush surroundings. From yoga, sound healing and pilates to spa treatments and free shuttle to ubud area , everything was just fabulous. The people managing the resort were very caring and nice. This beautiful accommodation is highly recommended to anyone looking for a peace and who loves balinese architecture , whether you're going solo or with a group. It's truly a hidden gem in the heart of Bali.

NetherlandsThe Nyuh Bali resort is located on the outskirts of Ubud and accesible via a very bad road. If you want to go to the center of Ubud, the resort provides a shuttle bus, but then you have to commit to a time schedule for back and forth. Or you could take a taxi or Grab. It's not only this problem but also the traffic jam one encounters when travelling back and forth to Ubud and the resort.
We did not realize that Nyuh Bali resort was so big. We 'explored' the resort on our 3rd. day and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. There were little gems of hidden places in the garden where you can enjoy spa and/or rest. The variaton and the quality of the menu and food was very good. The hotel staff was very friendly and polite.

AustraliaThe property is so incredibly beautiful with all the luscious plants and surroundings. The staff are all so lovely and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and so clean and well-maintained. The wellness classes are a lovely addition. I'd definitely stay here again. The location is about 15-20 min south of Ubud centre but there is a free shuttle that goes in and out of the centre on a schedule. Mind you, you could also just choose to stay at the resort and not leave because it's so lovely.

AustraliaDefinitely recommended. During my 3 days stay I didn't feel the need to leave the facility at all. You got everything you need here. Morning walk in the rice farm, bicycles to circle around, great restaurant with great food (Chicken alfredo was my favourite, recommend to try!) big public pools, private pool, massage and spa, yoga classes, pilates and sound healing and traditional Balinese cooking classes . . . Ubud Nyuh Bali Resort & Spa is my default destination every time I am going to visit Bali.

AustraliaNot a lot of other restaurants around unless you plan to go into town via the shuttle or book a car (easy via the local apps). Breakfast was good but dinner food quality and cocktails pretty average.
Exceptional staff, super private, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we wanted from Ubud. The shuttles into town are very handy and run every 2 hours. Staff are incredible and go above and beyond to make you feel at home and cared for. Highly recommend you stay here! We will be back.

AustraliaThe distance from town is about 30 minutes by car. If you want to stay away from the main town of Ubud this is a great choice. The shuttle is great but only runs every 2 hours. The food could be better. More lounge chairs around the pool
Beautiful room and facilities. Very clean. The pools were great and clean. They have a great selection of free activities. We did yoga and the walk on the rice fields. Service was very good and they have a free shuttle into town because of the distance

FranceThe service at breakfast was very slow, we had to wait a long time to just get a coffee or even cutlery. The staff at the reception sometimes had a difficult time understanding our requests. Overall the staff is very nice and tries their best but the service could be improved.
2 bedroom villa was amazing, rooms were very clean and spacious, very comfortable bed and huge bathroom with a bath tub and outside shower. The outside living room by the private pool was very spacious too and a nice place to have diner or lunch with roomservice. We appreciated the spa and outdoor pools as well. You can wander around the hotel’s peaceful and beautiful gardens. The free activities include many choices such as yoga, sound healing sessions, or free shuttles to the city center.

ItalyThere's so much to love about Bali: this lovely resort is another great reason to visit. The property is lush,l and quiet . The staff is outstanding in every way. The rooms are luxurious and spacious And we had a spa experience as well (120 mins stress recovery ) and that was one of the best spa experiences I've had in my life. Their facilities are one of a kind and the spa staff is a delight. Really, NOTHING bad to say about this place. We left relaxed and wanting for more.
