The pool was incredible and the staff were so lovely. It was slightly out of the main area but it was nice and quiet, surrounded by rain forest which we loved. We were helped with renting a moped for the time of our stay so that made it easy to get around.

They have a problem with the rooster of the neighbor, which starts singing at 5am and does not stop… it is actually the only disadvantage of the hotel. It was perfect for me, but I couldn’t rest a lot… however, I think I would opt for it again!

Minor issue: the roosters in the morning made too much noise.

Breakfasts could be tastier, although the number of options to choose from is a big plus - we tested all available options for a few days and unfortunately none of them stole our hearts (more spices and local cuisine would do the trick)

Very large apartment for the whole family, providing comfort for both adults and children. Good infrastructure of the facility with a helpful staff. The silence of the facility and the slight distance from the crowded city center are a big plus.

We loved every minute of our stay at Dedari. The rooms were clean and comfortable with wonderful forest views. The staff were welcoming and accommodating and the position of the resort right on the edge of a tropical forest made you feel like you were in your own special piece of paradise. We loved the constant supply of cold and boiling drinking water in the rooms. The rim-flow pool on the edge of the forest was extra-special. On our final day, we had a late checkout and were accommodated at no extra charge which was the perfect ending to a perfect trip. We will definitely be back.

Basically you feel in the middle of the jungle, having very good services from the personal. Everything is fantastic, the view is great and the open air bathroom makes you feel special.

Just a little bit far to get taxis to dinner in town at peak traffic. Suggest leaving earlier around 3 to get to town for shopping etc then have dinner. Traffic home was fine

We couldn't find a path all the way down to the river.

A very lovely hotel with a jungle view on the outskirts of Ubud. There weren't so many tourists in this area and the Goa Gajah was appr. 15 min walk from the hotel. We stayed at the family room, which was perfect for 4 people, with 2 bathrooms. A fantastic breakfast was served every morning on our own porch. The swimming pool was very nice, overlooking the river down below. The staff was very helpful and easy going. You could also order dinner at the hotel, if you didn't want to go out at night.

The food options are a little limited, and with it being 20 minutes outside of town (which can quickly turn into 50 due to traffic) they could offer more options. You will need transport to get around, wasn’t a problem for us, we hired a scooter, but it’s just good to know. You can get a hair dryer but you have to ask at reception.

The facilities are brilliant, with all the amenities you could want. Its setting is stunning! Was peaceful and beautiful.

Located in residential area. Need to use taxi to get into centre of Ubud and often a lot of traffic on the journey in or out of the centre. Villa 10 has cockerels in the property next door that make noise throughout the day and night - ear plugs are provided by the hotel.

Very big comfy bed. Lovely big bathroom with warm shower. Beautiful forest view from infinity pool. Friendly and accommodating staff. Staff leave offerings around the property and villas. Excellent air conditioning. No mosquitos seen during our stay!

The location is about 10 min driving to the center of Ubud, but it’s totally fine, you also have tranquility and quietness witch is difficult to find in the center.

Everything is perfect here, staff is friendly and so helpful, the atmosphere is so quiet due to the location of the hotel (middle of the jungle), the villa and bathrooms are stunning, except some geckos found many times in the bathroom, all was perfect.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about my staying.

The room was very big and comfortable. The option to have breakfast at the balcony of the room is just great because you can enjoy the food and the view of the surrounding nature. The staff was always attentive to make sure that I had everything I needed. They made me feel at home. I would recommend everyone to stay at this place.

It's a little isolated without a driver, although on staff recommendation I did walk to the Goa Gajah temple, an easy 10-15 minutes. Pillows felt like I needed to burst them with pin, super puffy, a bit of nighttime punching 😁

The staff were very welcoming and the area was very beautiful and scenic. I appreciated the water cooler in the room. Very clean villa. Lovely to sit on the veranda. Meals were okay, they adapted to my dietary requirements. Meals were delivered 10 mins before time selected, which didn't bother me, I had read an earlier review so it was not unexpected. Also an ATM in a local convenience mart on main road for cash out.

Since it is a place literally next to a jungle, there will be different noises of animals (even a gekko in the room) during the night bothering your sleep. For that they provide earplugs.

Very clean room with comfortable beds, beautiful designed bathroom, clean swimming pool. The crew was very helpful. The villas were very quiet, it felt private.
