Location is a little off the main road. It can be a little hard to walk and most people use scooters to get here.

Modern amenities. Great service. Staff went above and beyond when they prepared breakfast box for us at 2am in the morning when preparing for sunrise hike. Will recommend!

I had the pleasure of staying at Valerian Villa in Ubud, Bali, and it was nothing short of fantastic. This resort is a true gem, offering an exquisite blend of beauty, comfort, and top-notch service. I spent two days in the Mandarin Room, which was absolutely incredible. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and the bathroom was equally impressive. The facilities throughout the resort were excellent, and the views were breathtaking. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the staff. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a perfect experience. Breakfast was another standout. The food was five-star quality—delicious and beautifully presented. I also appreciated that the photos on the site were exactly as the resort appears in reality—no surprises! I highly recommend Valerian Villa for anyone visiting Ubud. It offers exceptional value and an unforgettable experience.

It was such a pleasure to stay at the villa. The location is quiet with views on rice fields and a bit outside of Ubud with wasn’t a problem at all, as the Villa is offering a shuttle service. Ubud city is busy and hectic - we preferred a more relaxed and quiet place. The team is just lovely and the food is excellent as well. We’ve enjoyed our stay and love to come back.

One thing to note is that there is construction going on right behind the 2 villas facing the garden, which usually starts to work around 8 am. While this did not bother us since we were up early to explore the Ubud area, it could be disruptive for those who like to sleep in. I would recommend checking room locations if you prefer a quieter morning.

We spent 3 nights and had a largely enjoyable experience. Upon our late arrival around 11 pm, we were pleasantly surprised with welcome refreshments and fresh fruits, which was a thoughtful touch. The 24/7 security at the gate made us feel safe throughout our stay. The villa itself was gorgeous, spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The bed was very comfortable, although the pillows were not quite to my taste. They were quite large and lacking in the feather option, so maybe a small suggestion for improving pillow options. The Staff was exceptionally helpful and nice. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, especially compared to most 5-star hotels I’ve stayed in. The Benedict eggs were particularly delicious, but also the dinner we had one evening was excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend it for its excellent hospitality, safe environment, and exceptional food selection, with just a small suggestion for improving pillow options and considering the construction noise when selecting a room.

One of the best accomodation ever !!!. Located just few km from Ubud central in a beautiful setting over looking rice fields. They have free drop off and pickup to Ubud central. Super clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good too !!. Sunset is gorgeous with the infinity pool.

We were aware the hotel isn't near the centre of Ubud and the traffic to get there can be horrendous but that is not hotel's fault and I'd say it would not stop us from coming again.

Stunning hotel, delicious breakfast but most of all the staff who went above and beyond. I don't think we have ever met more friendly people who took so much care and pride at what they do. We are literally lost for words how fantastic they were. Most days we had the pool to ourselves, our 9 year old loved feeding the fish and the turtles, we also enjoyed playing table tennis which is a nice touch. The gardens are also very beautiful and so kept so well.

Selection of drinks & snacks available from the small kitchen area could have been better, but this really is a very minor point, for the sake of constructive criticism

Arriving at the hotel gate off a small side street was a little surprising, but once inside the gates we were blown away. Lovely little hotel with 8 rooms around a stunning pool, overlooking an incredible rice paddy field. The staff were amazing throughout. The food at the restaurant was excellent with the freshly cooked breakfast & incredible fruits being the highlight. Our 7 year old loved feeding the Koi fish & aquatic turtles onsite and the staff couldn't have been any more accommodating. The highlight for me was the pool with rice field view, we couldn't stop photographing the sunsets. Highly recommended

The place was a bit remote and a few dogs barking and birds chirping at night outside the villa.

The villa was very clean and the view was amazing. The staff were very kind. (especially Ketut who helped us a lot). The food was absolutely delicious with lots of variety. The meals were one of the best I had in Ubud.

This was an amazing stay! The stuff is very friendly and accommodative. Very good breakfast options as well. Lunch/dinner food is great too! I ended up dining there for the rest of my stay because it was just that good. The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Overall, my stay exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway.

Thank you for letting me stay here! Amazing Hotel, most beautiful pool I've ever seen and i travel a lot. So peaceful and charming surroundings and hotel. Nearly everything is perfect. The staff is really friendly, you feel very welcome here. Food is good, service excellent. The massage was good, rooms are spacious and have high ceilings. The view of the rice fields is amazing. I wish I had more time here and I can recommend everyone to come here, only not if you are looking for a party. It's a quiet place here.

There is nothing to complain about. For some it might be a bit far off from the party on Ubud but this was an argument for me to get there. It is very easy to get a grab from there so it is not really a negative point even if you like to be in Ubud centre... They also offer a shuttle which I did not use.

From welcome to good bye as well as every single minute staff was exceptionally friendly and professional - knowing the guests by name (already on arrival without saying anything) and being always helpful. Also the breakfast there was best I ever had. It is pre-order which was first a bit strange for me but I understood when I got my breakfast - a perfectly cooked meal including nice presentation is what you can expect. The facilities are clean and well maintained.

Nothing to dislike.

This place is hidden gem. This was by far our best hotel while in Bali and one of the best in which I stayed, the location is not central but if you are looking for a quiet, intimate location this is perfect for you. The Family Villa was very convenient for the family. The facilities are great inside the room and outside with a lot of activities much appreciated by the kids and adults (fish feeding, turtle feeding, huge shared living room with piano, cinema, sofa to relax. The food at the restaurant was great, really really tasty and breakfast meals (savory and sweet) were very tasty. The restaurant chef is definitely one of the high point of this Villa. The staff were super nice helping us with finding taxi, activities etc. The pool was warm and great overlooking the sunset and the rice fields. My family and myself enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely come back here during our next Bali trip :) Thank you for everything!
