It says there Masceti on booking. But when you get there is a name of a restaurant. Perhaps they shld put both names. So there is no confusion.

The bathroom had a lot of open slots, which allowed a lot of bugs to crawl in at night. The pool was quite warm, not as refreshing as hoped.

The location was great, five minutes to the Safari, and the staff was super nice. The beds were super comfortable, and it was surrounded by windows with pool view.

Not very clean in the room, the bungalow door did not lock, the restaurant is not always open in the evening

Restaurant had nothing available yet had a full menu. Everything I tried to order they didn't have. The food was not very good. Staff need to learn a little English or at least take time to use translate to understand guest requests. Turkeys swimming in the pool is not safe clean or hygiene.

There was not hot water in the shower. It’s very close to a speaker where they pray at 5am and it woke us when it was still dark. And they have rosters and chickens that are very loud since early in the morning.

Our cabana was gorgeous, located in the middle of a rice field with outstanding views, very comfy and clean. The staff is super kind. Great value for the money! I’d totally recommend it.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable, but for the price it was acceptable.

My stay at The Masceti was a delightful escape to a quiet oasis near a stunning black sandy beach. The serene location provided a perfect retreat, and the friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals with a lovely view, making dining a memorable experience. While the bathroom facilities were basic, they were perfectly adequate for a budget property, and overall, it was an excellent value for the price.

We have read a review about lizards defecating everywhere and thought it was funny. But it was not funny when we experienced it ourselves, there were really many lizards who would go through our stuff at night making noises that woke us up. There was also their poop everywhere, on the floor, bed, in the bathtub… The bungalow also doesn’t have any soundproofing, there is a mosque very near which woke us every day at 6 AM. The wi-fi doesn’t really work here. We had our room cleaned 3 times but never got fresh towels. We booked this because we liked that it us flexible and you can cancel 1 day before arrival - we have prolonged our stay 3 times deciding to cancel the last night as our plans changed and we got a really rude message that we can’t just cancel like this, no hello, no nothing. When we said that according to their policy we can, we didn’t even get any reply.

We stayed in a bungalow which is nicely separated from the rest of the complex so you have some privacy. The view is very nice, into little rice fields, you can see the Agung volcano. It is only 3 minutes from the beach. Breakfast is OK, food in the restaurant as well. The staff was nice.

Great little place away from the bustle of Sanur. A bit far away if you don't have transport. Close to Bali Safari. Very relaxing and close to the beach. The black sand beach is fairly rough, so you need to be a confident swimmer. In the afternoon many young kite fliers came and the skies were filled with a wide variety of kites until dark. The waterfront also became very busy at this time with many street food vendors selling delicious foods.

The pool is little hot because of the strong sunlight during the day. Would be nice if there was some shade.

The view from the restaurant area is amazing. I loved it. The included breakfast is delicious too. The owner of the place is a local acupuncture doctor, my friend got some treatment from him for his long lasting cold. You shoud know that price for locals is different to what you'll pay because of the medical insurance. Staffs are very attentive and helpful. They kept our bags for days.

way too many mosquitos in our room every night ( could have had mosquito lamps or candles to deter them) bath water was cold so couldn’t use bath sound of farm animals every night was very loud

All was perfect for me

The most beautiful family so welcome and kind! The hostel dorm was clean and so large! Best dorm room I’ve stayed in and have been traveling for 2 years. The place is so peaceful and perfect to wind down! Just enjoy the nature and chill! The pools is awesome it’s huge and in an amazing location with trice fields around! Also breakfast was perfect eggs and rice or toast with kopi or te I’ll be back for sure thank you so much for hosting me 🤍🙏🏾

Dirty. Cold water with low pressure! The room was full of insects & AC would not make the room cool at all!!!! The items on the menu were just for decoration & they only had 1/2 items available!!!
