We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nice pool & garden. Staff helpful & friendly. Large room with kitchen outside. Shower excellent. Great coffee shop a few houses down & night market a short walk.

No noise from the city, no noise from other guests. Swimming pool was nice to fresh up. Kitchenette was nice but lacked pots and pans.

it had cooking facilities on the verandah. Great to be able to cook for yourself after weeks on the road. Beds and pillows good, nice hot water no bathroom smells . Even a pool if one is so inclined

FranceMy first room was dirty, smelled very bad but the boss give me an other room was better but sincerely to expensive for a room like this in sanur. I killed cockroach every night. Too bad because with a bit of maintenance the rooms can be very nice . (Please pull out the carpet from the wall, it’s a good solution in humide country)

United KingdomThe cleaniness wasn't that great overall. Place is very run down. Fridge wasn't clean. Bathroom walls are stained. Mattress was awful. Springs digging into your back and not firm enough. It just sinks. The kitchen was not fully equipped as said in listing. The plates and cups was all dirty anyway and my sink tap mouldy. Bins outside looked like they have never been cleaned either. Just stained
Although staff didn't speak English that much, they were helpful and efficient when i had problems or needed mosquito spray and batteries for the ac remote. Good hot shower and ac. Good location, close to amenities and quiet.

AustraliaUnfortunately the pictures on Booking.com must have been taken pre Covid. The pool has many cracked tiles and is dangerous to swim in, Rats ran around the verandahs between rooms and around the grounds, the headboard of the bed was stained with oily and dirty head marks and the room smelt like wet dirty cat, the kitchenette was dirty and didn't provide dish soap or a tea towel to dry. Sorry but this accomodation really needs to spend some time cleaning up the property. It may be budget but it can still be clean. I have stayed in cheaper and nicer accommodation in Bali. Very poor quality.
The other people staying there were nice.

Broken pool tiles, broken and unusable sun beds that belong in the rubbish, pool shower unusable due a garden hose poorly fitted to the water outlet presumably to water plants etc ,and large rubbish bin was stored in the shower. Bar fridge was filthy and dirty inside , toilet is filthy and disgusting as was the shower with poor water pressure, aircon stank of mould . Photos online are deceiving and do not show the current state of the property..possibly taken when the place was brand new 10 years ago. Female staff member was polite but the male staff members were rude grumpy and abrupt.
