Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongEverything was good! The location is a bit off from any main areas, but it's calm and peaceful. It is on a road that easily takes you up to mount Batur or down to Ubud.
Lovely surroundings of the rice fields. Very friendly staff and good breakfast service.

Puerto RicoThe surroundings of this property is the ideal Ubud stay. You stay and wake up in the middle of the rice fields. The place is safe, clean and at a great location from Tegalalang. The customer service from Putu, Panei and all the staff was exceptional. This is the perfect place if you wanna connect with nature and the true Ubud experience. Highly recommended!

SpainYou need to be a good sleeper, because the animal noises at night and during the early mornings are very present. I would have liked more electrical sockets in the villa, as there were only 3, of which just 2 worked. The semi-outside bathrooms was cute,, but there were many insects and mosquitos inside.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the location was good. Nice and spacious villa between the rice fields.

FranceWe stayed at Puri Raya Villas for 3 nights and we absolutely loved this place ! The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The pool and restaurant area was also very nice, in the middle of rice fields and jungle. Even though the hotel is a little bit outside the city, we would definitely book it again if we had to go back to Ubud, as the environment was so peaceful and perfect to relax and escape from the crazy city :) Also, it's very easy to book a Grab taxi to go to town in about 15-20 minutes. Last but not least: the staff was so nice, flexible and helpful, always with a smile on their face :)

United Arab EmiratesThe room is spacious and the balcony has a nice view - also spacious and ideal to chill and practice yoga. I love that it's so peaceful - the rice paddies were beautiful. Also, we had a fruit bowl as welcome gift, that was very thoughtful

In the middle of rice fields. Thus we could watch the harvesting process. View into the „jungle“ from our apartment. Peaceful atmosphere. Friendly and supportive staff. They organized a driver when we left and a scooter during our stay.

BelgiumThe food was okay, not super amazing.
We loved the bungalow with the semi-outdoor bathdoor. It is a perfect oasis to relax. The stuff was very friendly and helped us to organize everything (laundry, transfer, scooter rental). Very worth the money and I would always come back.

United KingdomHonestly there isn't anything we didn't like.
This place is a little haven. The room is huge and the bathroom too, with a freestanding bath and shower. Small lounge area outside our room. Huge comfortable bed with great air-conditioning. Room tidied every day, fresh towels if needed. Pool towels provided. Pool is small but good, clean and refreshing. Good places to sit and watch nature as you are surrounded by it! Restaurant is good, breakfast supplied. The best thing about this place is the staff, everyone is so so kind and helpful and chatty. We asked about certain Indonesian dishes and they always said they would try to find the ingredients to make it or help us out with where to find things. The manager is a lovely guy who you can chat to online. He helped us get motorbikes to hire. He can also sort transfers too.

United KingdomBeing further out of Ubud town, there are not any restaurants around so you will need a taxi/moped to go to most places. Also, being in the rice fields/jungle does also mean that you will encounter wildlife/ants/insects etc. We found a large lizard in our room on the first night but to be fair to the staff they immediately swapped our villa so we didn’t have to sleep with it in our room.
The setting is exceptional. The property is surrounded by working rice fields and our room looked directly out in to the treetops of the jungle. The room was spacious, well furnished (very comfy bed!) and with a large bathroom. property is very clean and well maintained. The staff are all super kind and lovely people. There is a restaurant on site but we did not use it other than for breakfast.

The property lies in between stunning rice paddies. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was big and comfy. The terrace in front of the view looked into the jungle. The pool is well maintained and clean and has sun beds with shade. The breakfast is prepared individually and was perfectly adequate. The staff, particularly Mr Putu, was incredibly kind and helpful with anything extra we needed (Scooter rental, laundry, airport transport at reasonable prices).

ArgentinaThe mere fact that I had to leave, sad to say. I want to go back!!!
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! It's located on a series of soft slopes amid rice fields, with lush vegetation and a peaceful atmosphere that surrounds the whole place. Threre are 6 rooms scattered along the plot so there a are no guests next to your suite: they are very spacious and beautifully furnished. The king-size bed has wonderful, soft sheets and pillows. A/C works great, as well as the free wifi. The bathrom is amazing, with a very good shower with excellent preasure and temperature, amd there is a separte bathtub. There are two basins amd two separate wardrobes. There is also a mini fridge and complimentary mineral water is provided everyday together with instant coffee and creamer, etc, and an electric kettle. Breakfast is delicious! It's served in a separate area overlooking the Bali-tiled swimming-pool amd the sun deck. Notice: because of the mild slopes, only the first two bedrooms are located where there are no stairs. Staff is amazingly warm and resolute. Don't think it twice! Taxi apps are inexpensive, and only a 10´-drive to Ubud centre.

Lovely people, lovely service! Though a bit rustic, it was a great experience staying in this villa a tad bit faraway from the Ubud center. Good for some laid back experience and great value for price! Putu was extremely helpful in organising our everyday activities. We had a quality experience in short!

Puri Raya Villa was the first stop on our Bali trip and it completely exceeded our expectations. When we arrived, we were blown away by the picturesque surroundings at the entrance and just as we followed the path to our room it was gradually even better. The view from the terrace to the jungle was so calming and we felt very private at the villa. Staff is super nice and always smiling and everything was clean and well thought out. If you're looking for a peaceful place that feels so different from busy Ubud, but still quite close (20mins by a scooter to Ubud) this is the place.

AustraliaExpensive transport options in ubud. The villa is about 30min from "main Ubud shopping " and grab rides cost double or 3 times that in Kuta area. If you don't have your own transport, it will cost you A$20-30 for a return fare to "Ubud"
The padi view and wonderful staff. Manager Putu is most helpful.
