The male staff at reception could take a lesson in politeness/friendliness from the boy who works in the restaurant..we had mojitos which were terrible, they tasted like water, the staff topped them up with Rum, but they still tasted like water. ( I'd question what was in the bacardi bottle)..there was also a high step up to the toilet in our ensuite, which could catch you out.

The staff and young boy working in the restaurant were lovely. It was nice for the boy to practice his English . They organized a good scooter for us and a snorkeling trip to the blue lagoon which was awesome. The room was comfortable , the pillow was too thick but staff were quick to change it when I asked. They have umbrella available if its raining. The breakfast was good.

The beach is really small, but enough for swimming and the sea is clear and warm. If you want another bigger beach you can walk to Candidasa beach or 20 min by taxi to Virgin Beach. Candidasa itself is very quiet village without big shops or nightlife etc. Mostly everyone relaxes in their hotels or takes trips to surroundings.

Straight on the sea shore, very nice views, friendly staff especially women in restaurant, delicious food, separate house with terrace and beautiful garden around, toilet with the view to outside shower with trees and little garden. Smart TV with YouTube, Netflix etc. You can go by fishermen boat directly from the hotel to snorkel to Blue Lagoon or the island opposite hotel. We felt like in a paradise.

I didnt like the Candidasa per se. Everything is over priced and food is not good. The hotel food was okay hut the portions were small. The taxi drivers that the reception arranges try to rip you off because there is no Grab or Gojek in the area. If you are a solo traveler between 20 and 35 it is good to avoid this hotel because it is very 70+ Also the personnel in Reception was in my case a bit rude, always talks like shouting but maybe it is a local thing

The hotel being on the beach side was nice. The pool was good. The people working in the restaurant were super sweet

There are lots of steps around the resort which may be a problem for some guests.

Puri Oka Beach Bungalows is charming, secluded and friendly hotel with wonderful views across the water. The views of the sunrise and sunset from the restaurant and pool area are a highlight of any stay here. Breakfast is served in the restaurant each morning . It was delicious. We also enjoyed many other meals which were tasty and a good price. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff throughout the hotel are very welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed our stay very much.

the only thing that was a disappointment was that I upgraded my room to have a TV since I was travelling on my own and like to be in bed early and usually watch some TV to keep me company. But there was no TV only Netflix or youtube, so didn't end up using the TV at all but this was a small inconvenience and it didn't really bother overall, But I did pay the extra for this room to have the TV. Wifi in rooms could improve as well.

Puri Oka is a quiet peaceful hotel on the beach, it has beautiful gardens. the rooms are basic but clean and tidy and have everything you need. The restaurant is right on the water front making for a very relaxing place. The staff are kind and friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable. I stayed in the bungalow which was bright and sunny. The breakfast offered enough choices, eggs and toast or nasi goreng. I liked everything about this place. I will defiantly be returning. The staff make you feel at home.

Heaven right on the ocean. This is our 2nd visit and will keep going back. The location, staff, comfort of the room is something you won't find anywhere else. Fantastic pool and easy access to the ocean.

Lovely staff excellent food and the were able to adjust the food to your personal taste. The view from the restaurant is amazing and nice soft sand on the beach with safe swimming. We met several guests who had been coming to Puri Oka for decades so that says it all.

One of my favourite Hotels ! You get much more than you pay for. Beautiful rooms, wide garden with pool and pond. Sweet staff. (Free) bikes to ride to the center/( night) market and beach. There is also a shuttle to both places. I absolutely loved my stay !

Salt water in the shower, but think that’s just Bali!

It’s right on the beach, but no room to lay as it’s a tiny section, easy access to the sea. It has a small pool, very relaxing . Had nice outside seating area under cover. Had a fridge and fresh water every day. Lovely sun beds but not many if it were to get busy.

The AC in our room was stuck on 25 degrees, which was perfect for my friend but a bit cold for me without an extra blanket through the night!

One of my favourite stays in Bali. The beach, the garden leading to the pool, the friendly staff. Charming room and just lovely surroundings for such a good price.

We had problems securing/ locking our room. There was an electrical issue after a storm with powerlines sparking. Was a bit scary.

The pool and restaurant was refreshing after our days exploring Bali. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I arrived feeling saddened from life, and within hours I was lifted from the sadness thanks to the incredible ladies and the young man in the restaurant. The terrace on the beach is breath taking, you can spend hours looking into the ocean and beach. Thank you for being who you all are!!! My satay was the best since I’ve been here, and they were more than happy to change the sides to my liking. Everything else was tasty too. Thank you team, you made my stay ❤️

The staff were extremely friendly and warm at reception and the cleaning staff and in particular the restaurant staff. The view from the bedroom was breathtaking views of the sea. The pool was lovely and there is enough sand on the beach so you can walk into the very clear water for a swim.

This time, there was no hot water in the bathroom. Also no drink water in the bedroom. The bedspread is just a sheet. The mattress could be more comfortable.

Second time in this hôtel and the same beautiful peaceful atmosphere. The pool area, in front of the beach encourages you to sit on a sun chair and relax all day long. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Good value for the money.
