No complaints. I’d come back. I even extended my stay

This review is for the one bedroom villa. I loved it; a nice quiet location adjacent to the quickly vanishing rice fields. Pool, gardens, privacy all a plus. Bed is comfy and breakfast (which is not typically included unless you pay) is great though you must specify a time for it so it might not work if you want to sleep in. I see what people say about the alleyway being far from the street but I had a scooter which obviated that. There are plenty of affordable restaurants on the alleyway/road so you do not need to go into ubud center.

The location is about 600 mtrs from the main road and not accessible by car. Only bikes can go through and obviously, walking.

The property is beautiful and was perfect for our group of 4 and a kid. The rooms are pretty with the high ceilings and the net over the bed, making it look pretty cosy and welcoming. The bathrooms are huge and very clean. Koma was very helpful everytime. Even late night emergencies were sorted out, all thanks to him.

    Nothing!

Everything was perfect! Even the fact that we arrived in Bali at 2 a.m. - the host was waiting for us, then picked us up from a taxi (it has to park on main road) and took us to the villa on scooters. Then a wide range of additional services (breakfasts, taxis, trips). We recommend it wholeheartedly and we will definitely return to this place in the future!

Only con that I can see shower area needs a little refreshment for the walls. In my opinion cleaning with brush would definetely help. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Excellent room with private pool, kitchen, bath and shower. There is AC and TV in the sleeping room. Mini bar prices are cheap. Local restaurants and services are close to the place and there is lots to choose from. Place itself is remote. You only can reach it on foot or by scooter. Pros that it’s very calm place - no traffic sound at all.

The property was beautiful and exceptional! It was clean and tidy and the pool was wonderful. Looked after by the most wonderful host who’s hospitality was out of this world!

Nothing as such, you are close to certain amenities however to get to the main street of Ubud you would need a scooter or get a taxi. This is very easy to do just something to be aware of when booking here.

Gorgeous facilities and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were so kind. Close to laundry, a small shop and coffee places.

Buda is a very kind person and it is a very clean villa with enough privacy to do your thing. He welcomed us, and we checked out with him. The private pool is well maintained and just perfect to really relax. The bed, kitchen, lovely shower and bath, supplies, its all what you hope and hope to expect. Buda definately does everything to keep every guest safe, feel safe, welcome and happy. Respect! Thanks!

It is not close to the road and even if the owner insists that it is only 350m, that is not true. You will walk for almost 10 minutes to the main road. But this could be also nice if you just want to enjoy every minute :) PS: you only have a closet with key if you want to keep your stuff safe (no safe box) but we did not have problems and the water in the shower is not warm all the time.

The villas are big enough and nice, the pool is awesome and the open kitchen outside is really nice. The AC works fine and the helper came to clean and change towels every day. You also have small restaurants really, really close and they deliver to the villa fast.

Car can drop you about 500m away. After that one can walk or the employee can ferry one person at a time on his scooter. If you rent a scooter yourself, then should be no problem. Keep in mind for elderly or persons with difficulty walking. Nearby villas have buggies available, maybe they can be arranged at some reasonable extra charge for those who need it. Drinking water bottles were chargeable from the start. I would suggest to at least provide few bottles complimentary. No dip tea provided and the tea that came with breakfast was quite bad. Coffee was better. No butter available for toast, only jam. There could be one large mirror in the rooms.

Very clean and well maintained villa. We booked the one with 2 bedrooms, as travelling with parents. Open kitchen with small pool was good. Staff was available to give a ride from the carpark to the villa - one at a time, on a scooter. Mr Buda was always a message away for questions. Adequate toiletries were provided and mosquito net was available as well. Basic breakfast was presented beautifully and on time. Fresh fruits and juice were awesome! Floating breakfast option available at slight extra charge. Coffee and sugar pouches provided (no dip tea or creamer)

Firstly location is problematic. You have to walk 400-500m from the center taxi station, carry your bags in a small bumpy road where no car can get in. If there is rain; good luck. We were dripping wet with luggages. In the night it is safe but still you walk in silence and bit of darkness near by rice fields. Villa and room requires full restoration from scratch as it is really not pleasant to stay. The room has very old wood furnishing and wardrobe and other stuff is smelling old and moisted. The bed is old and linen was always moisted and we had difficulty to sleep in the night. There was yellow spots in the linens. Most importantly hot water is the BIGGEST problem. One day we were said other guests used and finished water, the other day electrcity was cut and heater was not working. (While electrity was on) The other day hot water finished in 10 minutes. So problematic and not good if you are on holiday and especially if you are on honeymoon. Cleaning was poor, bathroom was having lots of dark spots, little seaweeds as it was open bathroom and getting rain from outside. Lastly, the price is already too high for this villa. Was thinking a better quality stay and paid the price based on pictures, but we stayed in better hotels in Bali at lower cost. Not recommended if you look for a bit high standarts from your holiday accomodation.

Small but nice pool and a very helpful staff. These two are the the only good things with this hotel.
