The room we had was quite dated and needed some maintenance but that is fair considering we had the first original room that was built on the property. And much of the islands accomodation is in a similar condition. :)

The location was within central location and short walk to Habour, beach, restaurants local village and night market! The staff were extremely welcoming and cruisey and made us feel at home. The hammock was comfortable and open air bathroom on the second level bungalow was tranquil.

The wooden steps leading up to our room were falling apart, had to be careful where you stepped. They could do with fixing. When the air conditioning is on, it blows straight at the decorative lamp which jingles in the wind so it kept waking us up in the night - (don’t know if this could just be our room though). Also the bathroom gets really wet when it’s stormy so don’t leave anything in there that can’t get wet!

Loved the bathroom design and layout, very spacious room and airy, had just the right about of furniture in the room including 2 small beanbags, a table and shelving unit. Location just behind the main strip road, 2 mins walk from the harbour, not as loud as you think it’s be being right behind Sama Sama Bar which plays music into the night. You did hear quite a lot of street noise though due to the open air bathroom but our room was backed onto the street so other rooms should be ok. Breakfast was also great with many options!

Very noisy at night, nightclub near by with loud bass. Hard to sleep even with earplugs in.

Close to port very convenient. Rooms and bungalows cute. Simple and clean.

Like most places on the island, loud music is going for most of the night, but given it’s a 2 minute walk to the port, this is something which you come to expect.

We liked the fact that the room matched the booking listing which is not always the case! Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and they had cute resident cats. Room was basic but comfortable and cleaned everyday. I liked the breakfast on your balcony area in the morning, but the food was hit and miss, they certainly don't do poached eggs well and had some awful basic white bread barely toasted some days and then others more decent bread. Good location for bars, beach and the harbour and relatively quiet, although I don't think there is anywhere on the island you can escape the mosque speakers...
