Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryNothing. Everything was perfect.
This property is simply amazing. It is located in the middle of a rice field, so be prepared for the sound of nature. This is what makes this place so special. I've travelled a lot; honestly, this is one of those unique places I will always remember. The property was immaculately clean, and the host family was amazing; they quickly responded to requests and cooked breakfast or even dinner if required. They are very nice people and will ensure you are comfortable and relaxed. The property is a little outside of Ubud, but it takes 10 minutes by taxi or Grabs to get to the centre, making it very accessible. The funny thing is that I thought being close to nature would mean we have to deal with many insects or other creatures, but that wasn't the case. We nearly met any of them apart from a few geckos on the terrace. The overall experience is amazing, and I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a traditional Balinese experience a little away from all the noise in tranquil surroundings.

We loved everything about the property, super private and had everything we needed. The staff took care of everything we wanted, we haven’t ever had service and kindness like the way the Moringa treated us. I loved the bathroom and the feeling of luxury. We can’t wait to come back, I didn’t want to leave. 🥰

MexicoWe Loved everything about the villa, nana and her family were very nice, breakfast was included and it was very good, the villa was 10-15 min away from the Ubud center via scooter wich you can rent there, the villa is like the pictures or even better in person. We recommend it ☺️ Thanks nana and family

IrelandIt's a little bit far from the centre, but if you drive a scooter you'll be fine. Or else just use Grab.
The Villa where we stayed was amazing. Very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The Villas are owned by a lovely family, and Nana, her brother and her father took care of us extremely well. Every morning the breakfasts were fantastic. Those Jajan Pasar made by her grandmother are delicious. Great place and people.

United States of AmericaThe shower was difficult to regulate temperature. It was either scalding hot or very cold.
Beautiful, peaceful villa in Ubud. A short drive away from many great attractions and restaurants. Nana was so sweet and really took care of me during my stay. I’m a solo female traveler and I felt so safe here. There is security at the main road and a lit path to the villa. WiFi and air conditioning worked great. Breakfast was always terrific and floating breakfast was so beautiful!

United KingdomI wouldn't say this is a negative but just to note that as the villa is situated in a very natural area, we had friendly encounters with bugs and lizards. Also even though it seems wasteful, it's important to keep the AC always on to prevent humidity building within the room.
Nana and her family are excellent and very attentive hosts, swiftly responding to all our requests. I loved their original breakfasts, the quiet setting of the villa, the natural sounds at night, and fully equipped amenities from incense sticks to lovely pyjamas. we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. Also, it feels good to choose an accommodation owned and operated by locals to support their economy directly as opposed to big hotel operators.

United Arab EmiratesI wouldn’t change anything.
I would come back here any day. The Balinese villa is just a dream. Located in the middle of the rice fields, it’s so peaceful. The garden is gorgeous, the house is spacious and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped and very handy if you wanna have groceries at home and prepare some snacks. The vibe of the villa is just beautiful. It’s located about 20 minutes from ubud center, which for us, as we rented a scooter was no issue. Nana and Ferry were excellent hosts. Very friendly, helpful and very costumer orientaded. Anything you might need help with, they will assist you. Overall 10/10

AustraliaNana was our host and so friendly and accommodating to my partner, Shay and I. The breakfasts that she and other staff made were great. It’s a great location and also next to another hotel. The Villa is close to white water rafting as well and a short drive to the Ubud city centre. Highly recommended and good value

United States of AmericaI think if you want to be a little secluded then the location is perfect. If you like hustle and bustle it is 15 mins away from ubud center. Be prepared for bugs and noisy frogs at night. The first night it bothered me but by the second night I got used to it and enjoyed my stay.
Nana and her family were just lovely. They made sure we had everything we needed. They communicated with us well and coordinated breakfast and transportation. The villa itself was beautiful and secluded. The hotel next door had good food and a spa if you are feeling lazy and don’t want to be driven anywhere. The room was comfortable and the WiFi was solid. Outdoor bathroom was nice and overall the facilities were perfect for two people in need of some R&R

United States of AmericaThe entrance to the villas was small.
A family owned business. The entire family was so generous and kind. They took care of us above and beyond the regular resorts would do. My friend ended up in the hospital and the entire family reached out to take care of us. They brought food and drinks to us at the hospital. They transport me to and from the hospital for free. I have new loving and caring friends now.

NetherlandsVery unique, cosy and quiet location. We really enjoyed the remoteness and view over the rice fields. Nana and here colleagues/family are very friendly and helpful! The house is somewhat out of Ubut Centre, but if you there are also really grood restaurants in the neighbourhood. We were big fan of the restaurant of the Pramana Hotel, next to the Villa.

United States of AmericaBeing here in person surpasses the expectations set by the photos. Morninga stands out as the best place, with meticulous attention to detail and the warm hospitality of this beautiful family who are always ready to assist. The cleanliness is impeccable, truly capturing the essence of Bali. And let's not forget the highlight – the breakfast is simply the best I tried in Bali! What a beautiful villa 😍. We loved our stay here - Nana and her father were such lovely guests, they arranged rafting and ATV for us which was SO much fun, they came each morning and cooked breakfast for us which was delicious, and were so kind and caring. The Villa itself is an oasis of calm and serenity - the perfect stay if you're in need of some peace and restoration. Surrounding rice fields are beautiful. Thank you so much!!
