Beautiful serene setting. The private villa with infinity pool and outdoor kitchen was fabulous, all overlooking the ocean. Great breakfast. The lovely owner/ host Dian and husband were very helpful.Dian even organised a private yoga session for us. Also enjoyed several great massages with Julie at the day spa.

We really loved the place! Dian is an amazing host! She was really taking care of us when we arrived, and she really like to share with her guest! The room was just breath taking! All furnished and decorated with great taste! The bathroom itself is a must! The outdoor was amazing too, the view from the kitchen and the pool is splendid. The whole experience was wonderful. The host is a very kind and helpful woman. The room was great and the view is amazing. We loved the pool and the sitting area. Breakfast was great too. While there, we had a couples massage. It was probably the best massage that we have had on Bali. I don't remember both of the ladies names, but one was Umi. The host also setup a dolphin tour for us. We didn't think it would be good, based on the online reviews, but it was so much fun and totally worth the price. I would definitely stay here again. With such a helpful host, great room, awesome staff and a good breakfast, it was a fabulous experience.

There are things you can change and things you can't. With this place, it's a bit further away from Lovina by a few km but it doesn't have to be a bad thing. Located on a steep hill. We didn't enjoy the local coffee but that's just our opinion. Honestly, not much to dislike, it's a great place to stay and I would return and recommend it to others.

The owner stays on site (one of the villas) and she is approachable for any requests and questions. We hired a motorbike, asked for laundry service and even booked a massage here, all of which are reasonably priced. The owner even offered to drop and pick us up if we wanted to go somewhere in Lovina. A very exciting apartment with spacious rooms and a live garden in the bathroom. The pool is shared with only a few other people and it's open day and night and is super. It felt like a private place to chill with a beautiful view of the sea. It's also equipped with a hammock and sun beds with umbrellas. We also had a welcome drink and a romantic swan decoration made of towels as I mentioned it was our anniversary. A lovely driver arranged by the owner took us to our next destination in Padang Bai for 700,000 Rupiah which was very reasonable.

The only downside was the weather, nothing to complain about at the property.

I liked the friendliness of the owner Dian and her family. It felt like home away from home. Her staff and the people that worked with her (drivers) were excellent. Situated on a mountain it became of importance how bali handles Trash - its burned down anywhere and evrytime. This is Not the Problem of the hotel, but it became concious. The area is Islamiszic/hinduistic religious. So sunset and sunrise is time of public announcements by public loud speaker. Those are Not to present but the come to your ears.

First the very useful recommmendations for Restaurants and else. Second. The Hotel carried us to and location close by and picked us UP. The Individual and sustaining support at our ac tivities in and outside. 3rd The infinity pool with great view to the ocean. 4th waterstation for free. Kitchenuse possible.

Dian is an amazing host… she made us very comfortable, always smiling and helpful. Wayan was a fantastic chef who started us out every day with tasty breakfasts. Location is idyllic and peaceful. Great views from the pool and dining area. Truly a gem! Suite was very spacious, very tastefully appointed, and bathroom was huge. Great bed, pillows and toiletries. Grounds are impecable.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Beautiful room facilities, pool with sea view, excellent breakfast, massage in a dedicated building. The icing on the cake is the hospitality and guest care which was way beyoned expected. They did not hesitate to help us with anything at any time. Our stay was so great that we extended it for one more day. If we visit Bali again, we will stay here again.

Our stay in The Kayu Manis Villa was an amazing experience. The facilities were super clean, and breakfast was delicious. Dian is an excellent hostess, so kind and friendly (as the rest of the staff). They even offered us a ride to the beach instead of calling a taxi. Totally recommended!

We loved everything!

Everything. From the moment we drove up the path and entered the gate, the grounds were beautifully appointed. Entrance is lovely and we were welcomed and escorted up the steps to our room. The room was gorgeous. Massive and had a large four poster bed in the center. The bathroom can only be described as WOW! We did not want to leave or sight see but stay in our room. Breakfast was amazing as well! So many options! And cooked for you at the time you chose. You can also book tours through reception if you wish. The lady Dian looking after the place was beautiful and lovely to deal with. I wish we could give more than 10 stars because they deserve it!

This place was definitely one of our best stays in Bali. The room was beautiful, mini bar was complimentary, and the sunset view was fantastic! The owner of Kayu Manis really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one. Making our breakfast the way we liked it, and even ordering food for us upon arrival (as it was late in the day and we were starving and didn't know where to go) The on-site massage ladies were great. Really enjoyed the massage we had. Dedicated recommend staying here!
