The water drainage is a bit slow in the sink and the shower, but if you're not in hurry then it's not a problem!

Rooms are nice designed, top floor has a nice view of the area. Very good shower with hot water. The air-conditioner works well too. The location is in the city center, easy to go everywhere with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The host family is very nice and helpful, I felt very much at home!

Really nothing to not like! We extended our stay for 10days in total so we were really comfortable here! Note that this is not a natural luxurious fancy pool place :) it’s in the middle of a chaotic street in Ubud so if you look for serenity better book outside of the town. You need to choose between walking distance location to cafes/restaurants or nature serenity.

Simply the best place for your stay in Ubud. Excellent location, in the middle of everything but quiet inside yard. Big clean rooms, comfy huge bed. You have plenty of space and light. Everything is newish, smells good. The bathroom is the best in Bali, really. Awesome shower, good drainage, no mold smell. You have filtered water at your disposal, you have kettle in the room. AC that works great. And on top of that, lovely guests Wulan and her family doing their best for your comfort. Really kind and nice! Preparing the breakfast for you: 4 options to choose from. Ok, not a huge feast of breakfast but it’s everthing you need! And if insects worry you, another reason to book here. Except for some ants (like everywhere in Bali) and occasional mosquito/flies there were no other insects! All rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floor with balcony. Help with recommendations, scooter, laundry, everything in house. All was way too lovely!

The room is very clean, big and quiet and all the building so beautiful! The location is perfect, close to touristic sites, many bars and good restaurants. The owners are so friendly and help you with anything you need. All this for a good price, excelent breakfast included, highly recomended!

Right in the city centre yet it's very quiet. Able to walk to many attractions within a few minutes. The owners are extremely nice and helpeful! Yummy breakfast with 4 different choices. The room is big and clean.

I had such a lovely stay at Kampung Sari. Wulan, and her family who run this place together, were exceptionally kind and warm hosts. I even received care when I was sick. I loved getting breakfast to my balcony every morning. I could always reach Wulan via WhatsApp. The rooms are nice. The compound is green and beautiful. It's on the main road but you don't hear any traffic at all, yet it is very well located.

They are absolutely adorable. Read the reviews beforehand, and its true: Lovely, kind, very helpful hosts! The location cool, it is like a little temple, a quiet oasis in the centre of Ubud. Not too crowded area l, very good restaurants closeby and a minute from.the campuham ridge walk. I will be back for sure.

Wulan and her family are so kind and helpful. The rooms are SO clean and the location is absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to come back to Bali so I can stay here again. As a solo female traveler, this suited me perfectly.

Great value for money. Nice clean room w/ good air-con and original shower. The family who owns the house is very welcoming! The guest house is located on one of the main streets, but there's no noise in the room during the night.

I originally booked for 5 nights but knew immediately I wanted to extend my stay for an additional 10 days. I felt completely at home. I had the level privacy I wanted and the level of interaction I wanted. The room was simple, clean, very comfortable with great views. The hosts are amazing! Thoughtful, attentive, kind and available when I needed. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to stay here. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend.

This has to be the best homestay in Ubud. I loved it! The family is lovely, super helpful, always willing to help. WiFi was great, breakfast is also good (there are 4 options so you can choose what you want). Breakfast is freshly made for you and brought to your balcony at the time you request. The room is quiet and peaceful, there is free water available, everything is super clean and modern. Highly highly recommend!

Not much not to like.

Although central to the main area of Ubud yet in itself a peaceful place. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Clean. Attractive accommodation. Everyone in the family very helpful and friendly and willing to go out of their way to be helpful. Able to top up water bottles easily. Easy and interesting to talk to. Would definitely stay there again.

Wulan, Agus and the rest of the family are super lovely and kind. They made me feel welcome and looked after the when I was feeling sick. They can also help with arranging tours, transport etc. There re a few choices for breakfast, e.g. tea/coffee, fruit salad, pancake, nasi goreng etc. and it was always prepared nicely and brought up to the room for me. The homestay is within am incredible temple complex and the room overlook not only the temple area but quite a bit of Ubud as well. I really enjoyed my stay and can highly recommend it.

Really beautiful place. It really surprised me given how busy the main road is in Ubud, but you walk off the main road up some steps and you are in a quiet sanctuary! Super comfortable room, sparkling clean in a beautiful and authentic feeling building. The breakfast was also great sat on the balcony amongst the lovely rooftops.

Super location right in the citycenter and yet totally quiet. Very good price-performance ratio. The rooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need. Also the bathroom is very new and clean. Every morning you get a lovingly prepared and delicious breakfast served, which you can enjoy comfortably sitting on the balcony with great views over the in-house temple. Wulan and her whole family are extremely friendly, helpful and always available for questions and requests. I felt very welcome here and would come back anytime <3

Everything was perfect.

The location was amazing, right in the city centre - however once inside the property, calm and peaceful. Breakfast was amazing, the staff were all incredible. This place is the only reason I enjoyed Ubud as much as I did. I had amazing conversations and connections with Wulan, her husband, her mother and mother in law and even enjoyed playing with her son and puppy! I can't wait to go back just to spend time with them all again.

The best decision of our journey was to book this Homestay. Wulan and Putu (the owners) are the kindest hosts you can think of. They offered pick up service and day trips to very fair prices. During one of these day trips (we did book them several times) we told Putu that we really like to taste several fruits, and for the next day he went out of his way to acquire some of them for us. They really did all they could to help us fulfill our goals and wishes. We stayed at the topmost floor with a view on Ubud from above. Eating the breakfast prepared by Wulan here was a joy every day. The rooms were very clean. Over the course of our stay we even became friends and we are still in contact. If you can, stay here, you won't regret it.
