The bed was a little hard. There was not much of an option for breakfast off the menu. We ate breakfast out each morning after the first day. Monkeys kept us off the balcony quite a bit, but wasn't too bad. I found it quite entertaining, just be cautious of them. No driveway, have to walk down side alley, but not a major issue just more to make people aware of it.

The pool was nice and quiet. Great to just relax by and have a quiet cool down. Location was quite good as it was walkable in both directions to lots of shops and eateries. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. Good value for money.

The ceiling in our room was rotting, water drips came from the ceiling (leakage). The hygiene spray wash of the toilet leaked which caused flooding and one of us nearly fell in the bathroom in the middle of the night from it.

The staff were extraordinarily friendly (11 out of 10).. super super attentive, so is the lady owner, very beautiful people. The breakfast was sufficient and yummy. The monkeys were cheeky (endless entertainment everyday). Very good location too!

I would not say I did not like it but there are lot of monkeys around. When we went for a swim they were everywhere. However, they did not impose on us.

The property was in a great central location in Ubud. Close to all the local restaurants and markets. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Good value for money! Quiet location back from the road.

The aircon spat some ice and water when we put it on one time and the shower pressure was a bit messed up. I think cleanliness could of been a smidge better but it was okay.

Friendly staff, and a beautiful garden view from the balcony. Saw some monkeys and squirrels outside our window which was such a unique experience coming from Australia. There was a kettle and fridge/ freezer so it was easy to make coffee and keep drinks/snacks cool. Bed was comfortable. The location was good, under 5min walk from monkey forest and a little bit quieter compared to further up the street.

Welcoming, quiet, relaxing, clean ammenities. Lovely room with balcony. This place is excellent value for $. The building itself little older but still very clean and beautiful. We were out touring during most of our stay here. The position of the property was excellent close to centre of Abud, The Palace, Markets and dining options all close by. The Monkey Forest a very short walk away. We had a great time watching the Monkeys visiting our balcony and area at Bumi Muwa, I loved it.

AC stopped working at one point, in the middle of a massage. Generally the AC was not very powerful, but was just about adequate. A little dated. Pool not inviting or nice enough to swim in.

Location is excellent - on one of the main streets in Ubud, plenty of shops and restaurants, there is also a Starbucks in walking distance for those after 'good' coffee (compared to standard Balinese coffee!). Room was spacious and fairly decent.

Tricky to find for taxis. Some noise from the monkeys early morning on the rooftops but didn’t bother us as much as our neighbours.

Great location in central Ubud and great price. Lovely warm and welcoming staff. Decorated our room beautifully for our honeymoon. Very powerful shower. Great breakfast too - loved the pancakes! Lovely tropical paradise hidden away from the busy streets of Ubud.

I found the breakfast bland and I didnt have it for more than one morning. The waitress had to stand there next to my food before I arrived so that monkeys didn't eat. If you like monkeys then go to this hotel they are everywhere I personally was quite intimidated by them. The room was basic and at one point did have a TV on the wall but all that was left was the brackets. You arrive and have to walk down a dark unlit alley way which when arriving in the night felt quite uncertain.

I liked the fact that I felt safe in the room. This was one of my first solo trips and that was important. The room was a good size and was located next door to a very good Mexican food restaurant.

Property is dated and lacks the Bali charm other properties have.

Central location which is convenient however equally easy to stay elsewhere and get a scooter or grab taxi if staying elsewhere. Nice pool, quiet given how central it is. Monkeys came on one of the three nights I was there! :) - however you can easily see and interact with them in the monkey forest around the corner

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bumi Muwa at Monkey Forest during my visit to Ubud for 7 nights and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for my entire stay. The ambiance of Bumi Muwa is lovely, with its serene surroundings and lush greenery creating a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling streets of Ubud. The staff members were exceptionally welcoming and kind, always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had during my stay. I encountered a little problem about the Air-condition system in room but they promptly had it fixed, they even offered a room for me to transfer but I declined since I was out the day the AC Unit is being fixed, went back to my room with nice air conditioning system. One of the highlights of Bumi Muwa is its prime location, situated almost in the heart of Ubud near the Monkey Forest. This almost central location made it convenient for me to explore the vibrant culture and culinary scene of Ubud, with numerous cafes and food establishments just a stone's throw away.

It is obvious that room needs renovation. There are signs of deterioration, like bathroom door decoration must have been nice before, but due to age looks quite ugly now.

Great location a few meters away from the main road, but not noisy. Pool is pleasant, but needs minor maintenance in a few places. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful garden area.
