Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe location is absolutely stunning, peaceful and green. The communication with mr. Robert was clear and fast. He gave us some good tips and was very customer friendly! Also would recommend to use the airport pick up service. We had our dinner at their restaurant a couple of times, tasty and freshly made. Also very good breakfast! Our room was spacious, clean and comfy. We would really like to come back to this place if we’re visiting Yogyakarta in the future.

GermanyIt is a little further from the City Center - exactly what we wanted - but if you want to be closer to the City, this is not the place (Even though you can go everywhere easily with GRAB anyways) The mosque next door will wake you up the first night with the call to prayer- we got used to it fast though
Beautiful view on rice fields and nature and very calm place Pool is very inviting Very friendly and helpful staff Very tasty and freshly prepared food - especially loved the watermelon juice!!

SingaporeSeriously, nothing, all are good.
The room is very clean, the atmosphere is very pleasant, safe and cozy. Just luv the quietness and really detox us from the city life. We enjoyed the free cycling along the padi field and get to know the local people and enjoyed morning porridge a the warung nearby. Local people are super friendly.

MalaysiaThe Muslim call to prayers each day was quite loud at the Resort but hardly audible inside our rooms!!
Blue garden is a very pleasant rustic low density resort away from the maddening crowd which is what we needed after the stress at work. It is quiet (till we came along-apologies to the other guests) and pleasantly breezy, located next to the picturesque padi fields. The accomodation in our 2 bedroom villa was nicely laid out with very comfortable beds. Food at the restaurant was good and you can get beer there too (that is difficult in the predominantly Muslim )!! Robert, the proprietor, is a wonderfully helpful and resourceful person who would make one's stay most convenient.

SingaporeThis is not something i don’t like but something to note. There are many small mosques in the area so the call to prayer happens simultaneously at each prayer time and it can be quite loud if you are not used to it. I am muslim so i enjoy listening to the call. Suggest for guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere and culture and to take it all in as part of the experience!
Everything was great but Robert and his team of staff were amazing! We felt like we were staying in a relative’s house. We had a 2br villa that had a nice living space and an equipped kitchen. Robert helped us arrange a car to Borobudur and Prambanan. The driver Yuda was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. On our last day, because we left for the airport at 4AM, his staff prepared sandwiches and water for us to take with - we appreciated this greatly.

The accomodation was very clean and comfortable. The roomservice was excellent. 🧹Robert (the owner) helped us to find the perfect shedule for our week. He organised our trips and our drivers. We also had good talks with him and he told us stories and the culture of indonesia. They also did our laundry for a reasonable price. The food was very good!

FranceThis family owned little hotel is absolutely perfect ! The father really did everything he could to ensure we had a pleasant stay. His daughters were giving a hand in the hotel's small restaurant and the food was great. All in all it was just a very pleasant and very cute retreat 25min away from the activity and the noise of Yogyakarta ! I recommend 100% !

NetherlandsWe stayed 5 nights and had a great time! The place is a hidden gem! Pak Robert is very very helpful, and knows a lot about the place. Yogya center (kraton, jl Malioboro) is about 20 minutes drive from the hotel. There are wonderful coffee and lunch opportunities around the place (ask Robert!).

SingaporeThe outdoor bath and toilet takes a little getting used to for privacy reasons, and showering at night can be a little chilly with no hotwater. Glad this is going to be installed.
An extremely tranquil and quiet getaway from the city madness, and yet only 1/2 an hour by car and we can always order food in. The garden and outdoor area by the pool is extremely pleasant in the mornings at breakfast overlooking nature and rice fields. Robert, the owner, is always at hand to answer any questions and requests and made our stay as comfortable as can be. It is like staying in a friend's home. Thank you Robert, Arum and the staff, ,who are so friendly, warm and helpful at all times of day and night. If you want an authentic experience this is the place.
