Beautiful village, large clean, very comfortable villa. Loved the outdoor bathroom. Wonderful views, great verandah for morning coffee. Food in restaurant good, plenty of choice. Easy to arrange transport to next accommodation. Great rest after boat ride from gili Islands, next time we will stay longer. Good swimming pool.

Wonderful and special place. Originally we stayed for 2 nights before going to Gili but we returned for another 2 nights in a different villa, because we enjoyed it so much. All villas are different and beautiful, very close to nature ( yes, there were caterpillars and gekkos as well). Both villas we stayed had a large deck with furniture and beautiful view. The restaurant had a wonderful view, the breakfast was great. The transfer service to Padang Bai and to the beaches was great. Bloo Lagune was a great snorkling place, we even saw turtle. The staff is very nice. We joined the joga class - it was also wonderful.

I liked the place and concept, but it needs some TLC. They were doing some work while we were there, possibly making changes bit by bit. I'd also want the rooms to be a tad cleaner, but again they're quite exposed so in a way it's expected to have dust, webs etc.

When I made the reservation, I don't think I had realised what the rooms looked like. The accommodation included 2 double beds, a shower and separate WC, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. It spanned two floors, the lower level only had one double bedroom with a/c and access to a small private garden. The rooms were open to the elements, in that there were few walls, instead bamboo blinds hid you from the outside. The view from the dining area was impressive, also in the early morning with the sunrise. Having said that, it is expected for all sorts of animals to find their way inside (including monkeys occasionally). The restaurant serves drinks and food till late, and the swimming pool was very nice and relaxing. We only spent one night, as we took the boat to Gilli islands the next morning. The hotel is just 5mins from the port, and has a free transport service if you want it. It's also a short walk from the Blue Lagoon Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We only stayed for 2 nights as we were wanting to stay close to the port to get a boat to the Gili Islands but wished we stayed longer. We visited a beach nearby which was a trek to get to but worth it. We had a fantastic view from our room. One of the rooms didn't have air conditioning as it was slightly open at the top but because there was a breeze it was ok. There was a lovely spa where we had massages and had a great view. The morning buffet was great and the view at breakfast was lovely. You can eat dinner in the restaurant or by the pool where the tables are which was nice to do.

This is an Eco resort… and they are VERY Eco.!! The villas are open to the elements, and the bedrooms are open to everything, bugs, mosquitoes, caterpillars, ants, etc EVERYWHERE.!! This did not over bother us, mosquito nets on the beds helped at night, but we all had our fair share of bites… the only other thing with it being so open is it is very noisy… from the wildlife, to the blasting of ferry horns all through the night, to the cockerels at first light.. ear plugs are a must if you want to get any sleep, and don’t forget the insect repellent.

The location was amazing… beautiful views of the harbour, nice cool breeze . Lovely pool area and the food in the restaurant was very good, breakfast was a very nice buffet.

Mosquitoes tested the effectiveness of Smidge and netting at night but that is not unexpected. The climate, humidity and presumably the green policy of not using bleach meant that the outdoor bathroom floor tiles were blackened. Again a minor point.

View from room and restaurant were spectacular. Very green feel to the place with birds, geckos, insects and flowers in abundance. Villa had star quality about it making you feel very special. The friendliness and usefulness of the staff were the icing on the cake.

    Loved everything!

EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING! There is not a single bad thing about this place. Rooms incredible, views mind blowing, facilities above expectations! It was both a blessing and a curse ending our holiday here because it was so amazing, but we didnt want to leave when we had to! Walking into our room on arrival had us all in awe! It was like living in a very comfortable tree house! Even with having aircon in only one bedroom, we never felt hot or uncomfortable, Showers were lovely and hot! Pool area is beautiful and the slide quick and fun! Restaurant has delicious foods and the buffet brekky is fantastic! Spa service was wonderful. Topi Inn down the road is also a great place to eat at!

Could not fault anything. Only thing we didnt like was having to check out at the end of our stay.

Fantastic location with snorkelling straight off the Bloo Lagoon beach - like swimming in an aquarium. This is our 3rd visit and it was great to see the resort assisting the locals to keep the beack clean. The facilities at the resort are first class and the staff could not do enough for us. We will be back again. The shuttle service to town and White Sands beach is a godsend. Congratulations to the whole team at Bloo Lagoon Resort

This is a fantastic property in a great location. The room was large, more like a villa, with plenty of space. It’s an open design, only the bedroom is fully enclosed. Water views to the working harbour and across the strait to outlining islands provided entertainment. Restaurant provided good food at reasonable prices. All staff were friendly and efficient.

Not so keen on the outside toilets.

Great location, beautiful views. Good food in the restaurant. Staff are lovely. Accommodated our need for air conditioning and moved two of our group to another villa so we could all sleep comfortably. Some rooms don’t have aircon so check this before staying as it is very hot when you’re not used to Bali weather!

Be aware there are Bali style villas. They are in a closer contact with nature. Bloo lagoon beach is nothing special. Take a shuttle to White sand beach!

Wonderfull view over the sea from the room and from the restaurant. Nice small hotel village on a hill above Padangbai. Free shuttle to/from Padangbai and White sand beach.
