Cleanliness was not really good, even after room service which included only bed making, everything else remained there, for example at one corner there was (I think) rat or bat poop and it remained there until our checkout. Although they did the roomservice twice.

Not as pretty as some of the beaches, used a lot by the locals on some of the beach area in large numbers, lovely to see as they are all have great time, eating, sharing, etc..

The location was good for us to get to Sanur terminal to go to Nusa Lombogan - we found a hotel quite late to feed us, the sea front was both for locals and for tourists, we found ice cream, snacks, coffee etc... all very organised at the ferry terminal also.

A lovely relaxed place with beautiful gardens. Pool very clean and room comfortable. A good length walk to restaurants from a peaceful area of Sanur. Like the Bali of old. Ample breakfast with plenty of choices. The small restaurant next door clean and staff friendly.

This place is nothing like a hotel - each cottage is different and abounding in character. Ironically it was the private home / compound of a man (Michael White) who made his money and name designing the world's best hotel gardens. It was great to see his garden and, even, be able to thumb through his personal library. Their restaurant was also great.

Small, quiet and beautiful with gorgeous gardens and pool. On a quiet side street close to the hustle of the boardwalk and the Sanur main streets with bars and restaurants if that’s your scene. The rooms very comfortable, beautiful large bathrooms and well appointed in general! Ayu and her staff provide excellent, genuinely welcoming service! The attached restaurant Warung Memeri is EXCEPTIONAL!!! You don’t have to go far to enjoy truly exquisite local cuisine!! They serve the included breakfasts so you know meals will not disappoint and they are open for lunch. Super friendly service!! Please be kind, “global travel ambassadors” and tip generously. You won’t find better service!!

The AC was very noisy and the hotel was a little bit far from Sanur Beach (15 min by feet). Breakfast was OK but not amazing.

Located down the quiet end of Sanur this amazing property was once the residence of a prominent Sanur landscape architect (and his gardeners) who (I think) designed the gardens of the Hilton and other hotels in the area. We stayed for 7 nights and it was everything we needed it to be. Location is about a 10min walk from the Main Street so don’t expect all the conveniences at your doorstep, but that’s a plus in my book. The restaurant is reasonably priced and food is delicious. People come from other places just to eat here. The Vietnamese restaurant 150m up the road in another hotel is also fantastic. Bike hire and laundry available 50m up the road. For me, this is what holiday accommodation should be. It may not be for everyone. I would stay again here in a heartbeat.

Location might not be the best, takes 10-15 minutes of walking to reach decent beaches or restaurants in Sanur.

Spacious and nice room overlooking the pool. Private bath in an enclosed terrace was also super nice. Decent breakfast options, staff are very friendly and helpful

Rainy weather. Not their fault of course.

Everything? :-) Close to Mertasari n other beaches. Quiet southern part of Sanur. Early check in. We went out so they brought bags to the chilled room without asking. Nice spacious grounds. Greenery, birdsong. Could be my choice for the next Nyepi. Big tree and warung outside has Blue Bird taxis waiting. Extremely convenient.

The location is a bit out of the way but within a 15 walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The room rate was a bit pricey compared to other places we stayed in Bali, so you may want to take that into consideration.

Wonderful pool. Room was comfortable with a nice bed. Hotel grounds are well maintained. On-site restaurant is a plus.

The doors to the cupboard and the toilet being original artisan carved doors were very small, difficult to open and prohibitive when entering and exiting. Also I was asked to select my breakfast the night before an asked what time I wanted my breakfast, but still made to wait when I got to the restaurant at my requested time.

The property was of a great standard and was very pleasant
