The resort is so quiet - perfect for a relaxing break. All the staff from initial pickup at the ferry are friendly, and helpful. Breakfast at treetops is delicious with lots on offer. The food at Saffron is delicious. The treatments at the spa were so good. The hardest decision is do you relax by the pool or swim in white sanded private beach

I like everything about this place. Wish they got a bit of radicals sports offerings, like snorkeling or scuba diving, I would def be going.

They are professionals and make you feel welcome. I live the transportation from one place to the other, it's really awesome and works really well.

it is situated on the hill and depends where your villa is, you are dependent on a buggy… you can walk/run on the beach though

People there are just amazing!! everyone at the reception, restaurants, pool, drivers, cleaners are super helpful and friendly!! The beach is very nice and very clean. At the pools big towels, water and fresh cold scented small towels are provided❤️

Some of these can be improved such as: 1) Offering complimentary ferry transport from the ferry to the hotel. 2) Have a designated mini-mart that is stipulated at Banyan Tree itself sells more varieties like snacks, drinks, etc instead of having to go to Cassia. Moreover, not many varieties of items to buy. 3) The villa should have a clean pool-like relaxation pool upon guests checking in rather than guests having to call the receptionist to change new water. 4) TV can be improved like SMART TV able to access Netflix or more channels.

Loves their breakfast at the treetops. Amazing spread of a variety of breakfasts to choose from. Not to mention a breathtaking view of the sea and enjoying the breeze. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive. Especially we wish to delegate and express my compliments to these staff namely Darwis, Karis & Elfhadi whom they are taking care of us throughout our stays in Banyan Tree. Not only that they demonstrated beyond the extra mile to take care of our needs. This is something that exceeds our expectations in terms of customer service and professionalism. Hope Banyan Tree will recognize these staff and award them for their good customer service. Kudos to them! Keep up the good work!

The limited choices at restaurants. They are overpriced especially the cove. Our villa, pool and day beds were covered with attap leaves after a heavy rain.

The equipment maintenance, tv broke down most of the time. Some sudden power trips.

I love the view of the property overseeing the ocean. Weekdays are exceptional low guests traffic. Had whole pool to us most of the time. The staff are all super friendly especially those working at the treetop restaurants & offer buggy rides.

Amazing staff, fantastic room - we particularly enjoyed the ocean view and pool. It felt secluded and private but the friendly staff were always available. From sunset yoga to the fabulous spa to the delicious breakfast, we had an amazing weekend and can’t wait to go back

There is no fitness center in the resort itself, but it is connected to its sister hotel, the Angsana, and the hotel buggy can take you there.

The beauty of the resort, the friendliness of the staff, the ocean view from the villa, the spa treatments, the breakfast (beautiful view and good food), the restaurants (tried them all and the food is great), the pools (one small for adults only, and another bigger one next to the beach), the beach (nice walk along it), the BBQ organized in our own villa. We and our friends (4 of us) had a great time!

When its busy hours it may take a while for the buggy to pick u up and you have to wait.

The villa’s with private pool were great as we were travelling with e group of friends it gave us a nice private space for gathering. The view from the infinity pool over the sea was terrific. The location is nice upon a hill and from the swimming pool u can walk easily up to the beach. Coz its going up and downhill u can walk tot hebrestaurants or swimming pool if ur up for it, but because of the heat it was easily to go by a buggy. Roomservice and ordering a buggy is really with whatsapp you can contact the reception, they answer imediatly. they have 3 restaurants and the indonesian and thai cuisine was good and easy so u dunt have to leave the resort. We were there during the week so not to crowded and felt like we had the pool for just ourselves but when we were leaving on friday it started to get crowded.

A traditional style and very well maintained hotel - actually a number of individual villas. Staff (all we met) was very friendly and helpful. 3 restaurants on site are great but quite pricy - however one travelling to this hotel via Singapore would not be shocked.

Everything! The villas, the resort, the sweetest of the staff, the view, breakfast, buggy service, WhatsApp communication, their ability to satisfy really fast any requests and solve any problems. We had a lovely stay, thanks to everyone

I think the restaurants are a big letdown of this paradise. They just don`t match the 5-star ambiance. they are very modestly arranged, 1 of them doesn`t have a terrace and has dirty windows, stinks like fish from the entry, not nice at all. The problem is that you can`t avoid eating in those restaurants, as there is nothing else close by, and you need a taxi to get anywhere. so you are stuck with what there is. The restaurants definitely spoil the whole spirit of this resort. Oh and if you enjoy a glass of wine on your holiday, here you will pay for HALF a glass of wine, more than you will pay for your main course. Forget drinking alcohol in this resort. Secret TIP: Xana beach club happy hour from 4 - 5.30 pm. Also the Villas need a bit of maintenance, as they look dated from outside and inside.! oh and there is NO GYM

Imagine you are staying in the Jungle, in a bungalow, and all around you there is just nature, monkeys, big lizards, otters, birds and bats! Imagine at the same time you get 5-star service! it was a really relaxing place, not only the nature and views and beach, but the people working there are so nice. sending my regards to Omas and Kasir. They are beautiful souls the beach is a stunner!

Absolutely fabulous hotel! The personnel all very kind, talkative and friendly, always ready to help. The facilities are gorgeous as is the location also. Beach kept clean by an efficient cleaning crew. Pool assistants very attentive and cheerful. Special mention to Kassyr the hilarious buggydriver, Kristin the spa masseuse with the most relaxing way of treating a customer and Amirah at Treetops always smiling and making us feel special! All of you made our 25th wedding anniversary trip a memorable one.
