No electric kettle in the room and wifi was not good as there was network problem multiple times.

We were supposed to stay four nights, but ended up staying two. The traffic of the scooters came to our first hut really loud accompanied with karaoke nearby, and some wildlife yelling constantly (nothing you could do to the last one, unfortunately.) Was also expecting more beaches because Penida is an island, but to my surprise more rocks and cliffs than beaches.

The staff was really nice and helpful, and went their way to help us at everything :) after first night we were able to change our hut, and then slept like never - couldn't hear nothing but the AC. Really recommend getting a scooter to get the most out of Nusa Penida.

The couple working over there were very friendly and patient enough to understand and talk to us. Location is front beach and you will get Balinese village vibes in the early morning.

Small, quiet family run hotel. Nice gardens and the pool overlooked the ocean.. snorkelling places right across the road in the beach area.

Located close to a rather busy road.

Nice rooms and cottages. Nice view on the sunset with Batur and Angung. As well the personal helped me to organise a snorkeling tour that was very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much!

I would recommend to have a lock to the bathroom on the side of the bedroom so you can fully close the door.

I liked the view from the balcony/terrace, a little garden and the staff was very helpful and friendly. 👌👌👌 They can also take you to places to do some sightseeing on the motorbike or car, and it was very nice of the guide to walk with me through all the stairs up and down ☺️. I also liked that A/C was not located against the bed - it was very smart decision. If you can't ride the motorbike but want to have a dinner a bit further away from the accommodation they could also drop you at the chosen cafe.

The rooms did not have the best soundproofing

The best things about this accommodation is great service and it’s central location. The staff was really flexible and friendly and they for example arranged us a driver and an early takeaway breakfast for several mornings. Bagus Cottage is located nearby a nice beach and many good restaurants. I would recommend Bagus Cottage as accommodation for a short or longer visit to Nusa Penida, if you don't expect luxury but good basic accommodation with a friendly staff, great view and a swimming pool.

The staff are absolutely lovely and went out of their way to take care and help us. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and they even drove our bags back to the harbour when we checked out.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bagus Cottage - I even extended my stay cause of this great and relaxed atmosphere. The owners were very friendly and helped me out with recommendations, scooter rental and ferry tickets.

Unfortunately we had no running water for nearly 3 days as we kept being told there is a problem but it will “fix tomorrow” …unfortunately it never did and we had to cancel the remainder of our stay. The bedroom also was quite uncomfortable with only one socket in the whole room so you have to choose between lamp (light) at night or charging your phone :) . The pool was also dirty and unusable… probably because of the no water problem- Such a shame, as the resort is really lovely and the people are too.

We had the warmest welcome to Bagus cottages from the lovely staff who tried to make us feel at home. The location is super cute with an amazing view (from the higher first level cottages where we stayed) and the terrace where you have your breakfast is so cute. Right on the sea front.

Very friendly owner, drove us to the harbour after our stay. For breakfast you can choose from 5 different options. Allways get a refill on your drinking water Location is perfect! You can go snorkling right in front of the building. Saw 4 turtles! Scooter rental ist also possible for a good price
