We were given vouchers to use during our stay but were not able to use them due to the staff not being clear about their usage. There was miscommunication amongst the staff themselves.

The Garden Bungalows were lovely, but not much cupboard space for clothes and suitcases.

We enjoyed our stay in Ubud. The resort is a little off the beaten track but you can reach the resort on foot or by transfers on golf carts. The Garden Bungalows were lovely and the pool was beautiful. A really relaxing place. Unfortunately we did'nt get chance to try the spa or gym but it all looked nice. We used the restaurant for breakfast which was very good but we dined out in Ubud in the evening. It is easy to get taxis to and from the resort.

We stayed in a premier suite, but we felt like the room needed some extra maintenance and upgrading. The walls had some holes in it, as well as some pieces of furniture. Because of this , we had some problems with cockroaches and lizards being in the room.

The location is worth the extra kilometers from Ubud. The resort is nested in a car-free area surrounded by rice fields. Staff is always available and welcoming.

Car doesnt reach there and the adjacent road is too dark to walk after evening so we have to rely on their buggy. Thats fine though because they run 24 x 7.

Lovely settings and amenities. Very scenic. Staff was wonderful, very helpful. Food was fresh.

It's a bit far and everytime you need to walk or call their tuktuk. In the menu from the restaurant, eben though is written in many dishes that there are gluten free, when we ask the staff, they are not, so be carefull if you are celiac.

The location is wonderful, the staff super nice and the room is in a very nice balines style made with an open bathroom, that's very nice made

The prices were a bit excessive and they didn't include taxes. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was average. We had a villa close to the rice field and it was a bit noisy sometimes.

The staff was very nice. The facilities were in excellent state. The size of the villa with the private pool was a delight. The location in the middle of the rice field.

It is isolated and can only be reached by foot or a buggy since it is down a very narrow road. The resort is very accommodating and will take you and pick you up very quickly but it does add time to every trip to and from the resort.

It was very quiet and serene away from the hustle and bustle of ubud yet close enough to venture out.

The only minor downside was the location as it’s connected by some very skinny roads suited to motorbikes only. The shuttle just about makes it down but you need to be a confident motorbike driver to go back and forth and beware some of the shortcuts are scary rides - about 3ft in width with rice paddies on either side! 15 mins drive to centre on scooter, or 20-30 mins in a car with the traffic. Anyway it is out of the of hotels control and didn’t really affect our stay! The shuttle buggy comes quickly from the taxi point (which has wifi) and is not far.

Such a charming resort! Really has a small, family feel but the quality and service are very commendable for the price point. We revelled in the traditional Balinese decor and landscaping. The main pool and hot pool are both so lovely and well maintained. We had a ground floor room with balcony and it was very spacious and peaceful, comfy bed and tasteful furnishings. We organised a motorbike hire and the Mt Batur hike through Reception and both were of reasonable cost and sorted very quickly. Lastly, we LOVED the included breakfast with the hotel. There were so many options, western and Balinese alike, and all delicious. We never had a better mie goreng in the week we spent in Bali. It was served quite quickly and included fruit, juice, an option of breads and tea and coffee. Would love to come back here.

I wouldn’t say that I did not like it, but the location is a little bit far, which comes with its own benefits of having the peace enquired, but to get to the main property, you can only use a bike and not a car.

The property is beautifully breathtaking, we were upgraded to a one bedroom pool villa and the staff was ever so helpful and smiling, no matter what the request, this is one of the first places I have stayed at where the staff calls you and asks you to come for breakfast! I think that is personalisation to a different level.

An authentic Oasis of calm in Ubud

Other people's negative comments about the place!

This is a beautiful hotel, just outside the craziness of Ubud. For us, it was an oasis of calm from the traffic and crowds. The location has a lovely charm to it. You arrive at their drop zone, and they bring you on a 3 minute electric car journey to the hotel. The journey brings you along a narrow path through beautiful rice fields where farmers tend to their crops and ducks gather for their underwater meals. It's a lovely, short scenic drive, but most importantly, it feels authentic. We also walked this path many times instead of getting picked up. We stayed in 2 different rooms there (we extended by 1 day so had to choose a new room) the first time we stayed in a bungalow which was really nice. The second was a more modern room upstairs. This was actually a nicer, more comfortable room. The pool is really nice and perfect for when the weather gets really warm. The spa at the resort was glorious. We did a 3 hour treatment, full body massage, scrub, facial, and foot massage followed by a herbal bath and stone chamber. Well worth what we paid and it relaxed us after the long journey. The location is outside ubud approx 1.5km. This is a good thing depending on what you want from Ubud. We walked to the center many days, but it's just easier to get a grab due to the heat. Lastly, the staff there were amazing, friendly, attentive, helpful, and always smiling. Thank you to them all! Stay here it's beautiful.
