The room was beautiful and spacious, in an old world kind of way, with high ceilings and deep bayed windows. It had a gentle elegance, was very clean and uncluttered, while providing the required amenities. Moreover, for a short stay it was perfect, since it was right in the heart of old Eger, in the shadow of the castle, and close to an array of restaurants and shops as well. Breakfast, though characterized as continental (which usually consists of fruit, a croissant, juice, and coffee) was substantial and good, and our hostess made our espressos and capuccinos to order.

The bed and pillows were quite hard. I had a difficult time getting to sleep.

Perfect location, on the main square of the Old Town, and right beside the castle. It's in an old building with a spiral staircase, I'm guessing 18th C. The proprietor was very nice and helped me arrange a transfer.

This was a stunning and well preserved boutique hotel, situated in the best spot in town. I was in awe of the history and the old architectural qualities. The person at reception (who I think was the owner) was also very accommodating. Breakfast was included (and from previous experiences, we weren't expecting much), but this had a wide variety of tasty and healthy foods as well as specialty barista style coffees.

Small details (like repair of small damages due to use on walla and furniture but im sure the owners know and will deal with it soon). The AC was dying unfortunately, but i will forgive :)

Great locality in the city centre. The hotel is basically a historical building- all the decor at the reception and hallway was old furniture and gadgets- loved it, so cute :)

The hotel is in a historic-looking building with a lot of classic charm. The interior is full of interesting vintage decorations, and old-school pieces of furniture. The locations is fantastic, it's right next to the old city center, just a few minutes away from Dobó square and from the Castle of Eger. Very nice staff, they were all polite, friendly, and very accommodating.

Air condition was a bit loud. And the music from the square anoyed a bit. But all in all, a real good hotel.

To be honest, the property doesn’t have an elevator, but it’s kind a trick going up the cylindrical stairs. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize the weekend I booked was a big wine and music festival but that was not the properties fault. 

I love the old style and charm at the Hotel overlooking the oboe square, the center of the town. It takes you back into previous centuries of beauty Hungry.

The property was in the most perfect location. Right in the heart of Eger. Parking was free for guests. The hotel, whilst not modern, had a real charming feel about it which only added to our experience.

Stairs going to 1st floor steep and narrow. Bring smaller bags.

Location, Location, Location! Front door opens directly onto the main square. Nice continental breakfast. More restaurants near by than you can shake a stick at. Very clean rooms. Would stay again in a minute again. Off street parking is available. Very important.

Fabulous location in the heart of Eger - walking distance to most everything you want to see. Funky old hotel, with walls covered with antiques and old photographs. We had a lovely corner room with view over the main square. Windows that opened to let in fresh air. If you are looking for chrome and a square room that could be anywhere in the world, this is not it. If you are looking for character, great staff, comfort, with modern bathroom, TV, WIFI, good breakfast included, family operated, this is for you. Our second stay here and looking forward to the next time.
