TV remote was difficult... not the right one for TV. Not a great loss as only one station broadcasts in english.

Air condition was a bit loud. And the music from the square anoyed a bit. But all in all, a real good hotel.

Room was big and nicely decorated. Location is perfect, right at the old town's main square. And the breakfast was delicious.

To be honest, the property doesn’t have an elevator, but it’s kind a trick going up the cylindrical stairs. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize the weekend I booked was a big wine and music festival but that was not the properties fault.

I love the old style and charm at the Hotel overlooking the oboe square, the center of the town. It takes you back into previous centuries of beauty Hungry.

The property was in the most perfect location. Right in the heart of Eger. Parking was free for guests. The hotel, whilst not modern, had a real charming feel about it which only added to our experience.

    Nothing to dislike.

Central location in the small downtown of Eger. I love to support small family owned business - so this charming little hotel was a very good choice for us. Good breakfast, comfortable beds, fair price.

Stairs going to 1st floor steep and narrow. Bring smaller bags.

Location, Location, Location! Front door opens directly onto the main square. Nice continental breakfast. More restaurants near by than you can shake a stick at. Very clean rooms. Would stay again in a minute again. Off street parking is available. Very important.

    Nothing.

Fabulous location in the heart of Eger - walking distance to most everything you want to see. Funky old hotel, with walls covered with antiques and old photographs. We had a lovely corner room with view over the main square. Windows that opened to let in fresh air. If you are looking for chrome and a square room that could be anywhere in the world, this is not it. If you are looking for character, great staff, comfort, with modern bathroom, TV, WIFI, good breakfast included, family operated, this is for you. Our second stay here and looking forward to the next time.

the breakfast is only the minimum but actually all i needed was there. Coffee cheese cornflakes fruits bread yogurts. They make scrambled eggs We stayed 2 days the first one we had no croissants no cake at all. The second one we had a homemade cake. For me it was ok. In the room there were 3 windows and the isolating curtain was not enough close to the window so that there was a gap and there was light early in the morning coming from the gap. We always wake up early so it didnt really bother us but if you like to sleep late it may be an issue... there is no free parking near the hotel. the hotel parking is expensive so we didnt use it. There is a free parking out of the center 1km we put our car there for 2 days since we didnt need it.

The hotel looks like a museum. Very beautiful with really ancient furnitures and pictures full of history. The room is comfortable and spacious. It is right in the center of the central place. Near to everything. Dont need the car to visit the town. It is well equiped with a kettle and cups if you want to drink tea and everything you need. The host was very nice to us. It was raining so he lent us umbrella to use. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and i would come back if i will be in egger again. Its a beautiful town.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We had a room with wonderful view on Eger main square. The breakfast, although basic, was excellent because was freshly prepared. We appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the TV with lots of chanels. All the respect for the hosts! They are very nice and helpful.

Very curious place, just below the castle. If you are interested in history, this is your place. Not ordinary, it is a place to remember. It's a 300-year-old house, more a museum than a hotel.
