Swimming pool, very nice staff

Noise, noise, noise. During the week it was bearable, but on the weekend the music played until almost 5am. If you want to party, it's good, but not ideal for relaxing.

We really like the attitude of the staff, they were all very helpful. The beach was very close, which we appreciated a lot! And everything was very close and accessible!

The stairs going to our room (and there are many separate sets of stairs) are uneven and members of our party (including myself fell on these stairs multiple times. There isn't an elevator, so bringing all of our luggage to our rooms was a little complicated. The three of us were sharing a room and the hotel does not provide more than 1 roll of toilet paper a day - I highly suggest bringing your toilet paper! We went to the store and purchased ours too. Spending our time around the pool was nice, but the lounge chairs would be "occupied" all day without any people actually at the pool because the staff had told us if a guest left their belongings such as a towel, cup, glasses, etc. on a lounge chairs at the pool that they do not move them and the lounge chair is occupied. We saw guests leave their belongings for days and not come down to the pool to gather them and with only a handful of chairs it proved to be difficult to spend time at the pool at times. It is very loud at night with the clubs and bars only meters away from our room, but the hotel does provide earplugs so that did help. Additionally, once I checked out after our 5-day stay, they asked me to pay some sort of taxes for 8000 Hungarian forints when I prepaid my stay ahead, around $700.-

Right off the main strip of Siófok and at the shores of Balaton. The pool provided a nice ambiance. The beds were comfortable and the place had hot water. They also supplied earplugs for each guest which is a nice touch.

- depending on hotel staff, less customer-oriented service - opposite of hotel a bar with live music, so noise in hotel room until early morning hours - general cleanliness of rooms and maintenance can be improved

My room was on the 2nd floor and as there is no lift, it involved going up and down four sets of stairs. I am 72 and with heavy luggage this was very difficult for me. They had automatic lighting, which didn't always work, so sometimes I was left completely in the dark. The room was very small and no window - just a skylight! I kept bumping into things. The bathroom was also small and the sink was at such at angle to the wall that unless you were a midget, you had to stand to one side of it to use it rather than directly in front! The swimming pool was dirty and had green algae around the side. The hotel is central and close to the nightlife so it's noisy - but to be fair they do warn you about that and provide earplugs! The hotel is 'adequate' but definitely more suited to a young 'backpacker' type clientele. I wouldn't recommend it for older people or people with disabilities.

The staff was so nice. Receptionists and also people preparing the breakfast which was delicious btw. Room was clean and comfortable, I love the fact there were two pillows for one person. Bathroom was exceptionally clean.

The staff was not very good in english and the comunication about even quite basic things was worse. The room was not completely clean, under the bed were some crumbles and even after asking room servise for cleaning, nothing except the bins changed. I was expecting at least cleaning of the bathroom. The drain in the shower was very hardly working so I asked the stuff for fixing it and nothinf happened.

Locality was very good, eventough it was very loud. Because of this, we really appreciated earplugs we got as a part of the equipment there. They also tried to have glutenfree bread for the breakfast - there were options, but no signs and no information about the food at all (meaning the alergens or at least what it is).

Hotel is very old. Every piece of furniture you will touch is very old. Sadly pretty dirty as well. With my friends we were betting on the stains on carpets and beds, if they were puke or blood. So get ready. Loudness, I have already mentioned. Totally preference. If in Siofok for long nights with group of friends, totally okay, otherwise the hotel is on the party street meaning very loud. Breakfast is okay. Value for money is very low, but sadly that is the case in Balaton area and most of the places have low value for the money you paid. If you know what you expect then it is still okay place to stay.

Location is great. However depends on what you expect. If you will be partying in Siofok, thats place to stay. Otherwise get ready for really laud nights and no sleeps. I went there during a festival, so outside noise was not the issue for me. Hotel also has a nice garden, pretty peaceful in the morning.

The hotel is on the main street of the town. It has got both pros and cons - everything is close, restaurants, beach, entertainment but the street is noisy. However, we knew that so we got quieter room at the back. The breakfast was very good - lots of choice. What I appreciate a lot is a kind and helpfull staff - I forgot my golden rings in the room and they called me and sent it to me by mail.

The shower was inconvenient. Little water pressure, the shower head was fixed on top of the cabin. A breakfast area was small and crowded. They mostly ran out of breakfast around 9:15.

The hotel is well located, close proximity to almost everything. The noise pollution is not as bad as a lot of people state, especially if you get tired during the day. The size of the room was pleasant, the bathroom was nice.
