Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BangladeshThe hotel door isn't locking properly, and it's inconvenient that I have to press hard on it to secure it.
I actually liked the hotel manager. I arrived late at night, but he was still responsive and provided instructions on how to enter my room. The next morning, he even came to see us and repaired the door lock. Despite the building being older, it was clean and well-maintained. The manager was incredibly helpful, suggesting restaurants and even providing a map to navigate the area. He went above and beyond by allowing us to store our luggage at the hotel after checkout since our flight wasn't until nighttime. This flexibility was a huge convenience.

ItalyIt is called hostel, but in reality it is an unpretetious apartment with 3 rooms and shared facilities. If you are unlucky and the neighbours are noisy it could be a problem.
Location is right in the centre of Pest, but no noise from the streets. The apartmente manager is very nice and helpful. The bed is confortable. It is a small room, but there is everything you need. Nice that there are 2 toilets in the apartment.

PolandGreat location, we didn’t need to take no public transport, we could walk to any place in the city centre in short time. The host is super-friendly, he took his time to explain everything we needed to know about our place, guided us through the city map, told us about places to visit and good food-spots. Our room was very cozy, the bed was comfortable and we couldn’t hear any sounds coming from our neighbours rooms.
