The bathroom smelled like a sewer, seemingly coming from the shower, the exhaust not making a difference. The bar fridge did not work. After requesting it to be fixed or replaced, as I had purchased food that needed to be cooled, the male employee asked me to help him carry the next door working fridge to my room. Of course I obliged, but say no more.

Courteous, English speaking staff. Great view from the rooftop terrace. I didn't book breakfast, as I thought it too expensive.

I have stayed in this hotel regularly for 15+ years at least once a year. It gets better but the check out time now and cost of breakfast respectively are too early and a bit expensive.

Amazing rooftop terrace - worth discovering! The room was a bit old-fashioned, but otherwise absolutely OK. The hotel, as a whole, was absolutely top of the range 20-30 years ago. Now it could do with some redecoration/redesign, but still a very good one at a very good location. Friendly and helpful staff.

At a 4 star hotel I expected a minibar in the room

Belle Epoque palace in the middle of the city, at the price of a hostel in Germany.

The spa and pool are under construction. Breakfast was not great.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance of the train station. The lobby and breakfast room are like a palace. The rooftop views are incredible. There are some places to sit near the rooftop. Most rooms have a balcony. I enjoyed the experience and would stay again.

You must find parking on a busy street and then go to reception and then go to their garage. The view from my balcony was a disaster.

The peoples with pets have to be far from you because of the noises they can make.

We did not take the breakfast. The parking place is available in front of the hotel free of charge in the weekend. Parking is available with a reasonable price.

The rooms are outdated - probably will be refurbished by spring 2024. Beds are old and way too hard, killed my spine. The lobby was dark, cold and lifeless, felt more like a storage room than a hotel lobby, not comfy and inviting to spend time there. Very few staff, unskilled and ignorant, or just simply don't care. If you ask, they do what you ask for, but zero pro-activity. I booked via this site, yet they asked me to settle the bill on arrival, putting me in a very embarrassing situation. Breakfast was ok, but extremely limited choices for a 4-star hotel. A beautiful building from old times, could be an amazing hotel. Maybe one day...?

Good price value, the hotel is in the process of refurbishment, the entrance is beautiful. The garage is practical, as otherwise very difficult to park. Great location, just in the centre.

The new owners should stop sticking so rigidly to check-out time. Apart from Holiday periods the hotel never seems totally full and being more civilised a 12.00 to 1300 would be a far better check out time.

I have stayed here twice a year for the last 15 years (except during covid) the hotel gets better and better.

The rooms were spacious and the hotel is huge. Time shows its marks on this hotel but the staff make it brilliant. The staff truly understand hospitality. They were always kind and helpful. This made our stay even better.

Empty mini bar in the room. The hotel has nice rooftop bar, but it was not in operation what it is really pity because it is the place with great potential. But it is open for guests you can be there to look around or sit down with own food/drink. The wellness was out of order, probably in reconstruction. Do not expect the live hotel with many people, night bars, there is really quiet what is unusal for 4* hotel in the city centre.

Great location in the city centre, comfortable and clean rooms The breakfast was nothing special but you find your food (eggs, sausage, cheese, ham, ...). The staff was very nice. You can park your car in the garage (11 €/night) but we had the bikes and we could leave them free of charge. Not completely new hotel but we were satisfied.
