The hotel is very clean, and the room I took had a bathroom. It was well-maintained, organized, and comfortable. The hotel's location is very convenient, with a supermarket right next to it. The shared kitchen is very clean and equipped with all the necessary utensils.

The smell of all the food cooking in Fat Mama's kitchen was in our room. The ventilation system could be better.

I don't like that people have to buy lockers; they should be provided by the hotel. That was the one thing I did not like.

I recently stayed in a dormitory room with five other travelers, and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The location was absolutely perfect, situated in a vibrant area with easy access to all the main attractions. The room itself was well-designed and spacious, providing ample space for everyone to store their belongings without feeling cramped. Each bed had its own privacy curtain, personal light, and power outlet, which added a nice touch of personal space. Cleanliness was a top priority, and it showed. The room, bathrooms, and common areas were impeccably maintained, with housekeeping regularly ensuring that everything stayed fresh and spotless. Overall, my stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this place to any traveler looking for a great stay with wonderful amenities and a perfect location. The girl at reception, Yas, is from Argentina. She is the kindest and most caring person I have ever met during my travels. She solved my problem at the hotel very easily.

Bathroom door by design is sliding and gives less privacy than I would have expected.

Location is excellent and even though the street is crowded and loud with windows shut we couldn't hear a thing. Amazingly good sound isolation. Staff is pleasant and helpful so I would a) come again b) give recommendation

If I’m ever looking to stay in Budapest, Maverick will be my first choice, fantastic value for money, facilities, location and great people. My stay was exceptional, my room was clean and well set up, if you’re arriving early they have a room to drop your belongings which is beyond helpful. There is a WhatsApp group you can join and it lets you interact with everyone that has joined and is staying at the hostel. Social events run daily most of the time and if not, the common area by reception is great for just chilling out, playing some games and meeting new people. The hostel was quiet throughout my stay which was nice and on the side opposite the street I heard live music on some evenings which was lovely. The communal kitchen was spotless every time I popped in and had everything you may need to make some food. The team at maverick are phenomenal, so kind and helpful, in particular Geri who was very knowledgeable (at Mortal Kombat too ;) ) and a good chat. Thank you for making my stay so nice x

Great location! Walking distance from a lot of amazing places in Budapest, and walking distance from metro and tram lines. The hotel is surrounded by nice bars, restaurants, and bakeries. The staff are really nice, they help you book airport transfers and plan group activities. I totally recommend this hotel if you like to explore a city like a local.

The location of the hostel is incredibly convenient, surrounded by many beautiful restaurants and bars, and just a short walk to the city center. It’s about an 8-minute walk to the metro station, making it easy to get around

The room was facing quite a noisy street. It's not too bad and we slept well but weren't really able to open the windows during the night. It didn't bother us too much as there is air conditioning in the room.

The family room is just perfect for 2 parents + 2 kids. The ledder to the top beds is quite steep so not recommended for small children. Location is perfect! Lots of food options in the area and public transport to any destination. The staff is super helpful and they offer most needed services such as laundry or booking tickets for activities. The hostel is also perfect for solo travellers as they organise activities on most evenings so you never feel lonely.

Breakfast is a little pricey, but there's a grocery store right downstairs with everything you need.

Superb location. We stayed on a twin room, everything was clean and in great conditions. The common areas as well, such as the kitchen (fully equiped) and the common room. Overall, would recommend and stay there again.

First night it was very loud from outside noises , but thats not hostels fault on the street outside there are signs to keep quiet , only thing that i kinda disliked but thats not big deal is that steam of water in cabins for showering are weak, but i had warm water every time.

Location is very good , with public transport you can practiclly go to any part of Budapest really quick, hostel was good and clean except in toillet sinks get dirty becose some bugs or leafs or i dont know what comes from a window , but staff always cleaned it in the morning , overall im satisfyed with my stay.
