We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location, right next to the historic inner city. Very good value-for-money. Didn't expected much for a 2* hotel, but in some ways, it was well over it. Breakfast was nice.

Large clean rooms, friendly staff, parking available, close to the historic centre of the Kőszeg town, strong heating. Good and fresh breakfast. Perfect value for money. 25km/30min by car to Bükfürdö thermal spa.

HungaryTalking about the weaknesses of the hostel, it's important to keep in mind that this is a hostel not a hotel. Its main visitors are probably groups of active people, e.g. hikers, who use the hostel mainly for sleeping. I missed that the doors were not soundproof and there was no air conditioner (although the town's climate is relatively cool, so it's not an absolute necessity). What I particularly missed however were the luggage holder in the room and the towel holder in the bathroom as there weren't any. One must get creative to dry four towels in a room without any towel holders. According to my family member, a handrail in the shower would be very useful as well.
The Hostel has a great location in the historic center of the town, next to a historic 18th century Lutheran church and its beautiful park. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the room (and bathroom) was brand new and super clean. They offered a good variety of options for breakfast (ham and eggs, sausages, cereals, fruits and vegetables). All that I tried were very tasty. I particularly liked the various pastries. The quantity of the breakfast was also more than enough. As I shared a room with a family member, I had a single bed but it was comfortable and the bedsheets were of really good quality. The wifi was free and not bad at all.

The hotel is very close to the main attractions. The staff was exceptional, very helpful and open for our special requests. The room is brand new and very comfortable. They have a common kitchen with all kitchen equipment which we appreciated very much. We had buffet breakfast which was far beyond our expectations.
