Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

RomaniaAparently is clean. But in the bathroom many things can be done better. Including the towels. They are more grey than white.
Location close to Papp Arena and metro. Very good for concerts. Sheets are clean. Kettle in the room (you have to have your own tea or coffee and sugar). The guys from reception were almost nice.

United KingdomOn arrival took a lot of time for staff to find my booking. Staff members (and probably their friends) were constantly standing outside the front door, blocking the entrance, didn't bother moving out the was even when seeing guests trying to get in. My battery bank and phone charger went missing from the room. Needed to chase it up with reception. Got it back after a few days without the charging cable. Needed to chase staff for toilet paper, bin bag and shampoo. As I stayed for 9 days and there was initially left only 3 shampoos in the room.
Towels started being changed after a few days.

IrelandMy biggest complaint is with reception...when i got there late in the evening of the 18th Aug (my flight had been delayed), i went to pay for my room by card but for some reason none of my cards worked?????...my debit card, my revolut card and my credit card, all three!! alll of these had funds and all cards worked fine everywhere else, luckily i had some cash on me but i ended up having to pay half euro and half HUF so I had to go to an ATM then to get more money and all my ready spending money in HUF was used up for this payment, because I only got 10,000 notes from the machine the receptionist had no change so I was still due to pay 3000HUF. I went to pay this when I got a quiet moment at reception, I met a different receptionist who had no knowledge of this or any record of it on the system so she phoned him personally to get the information, after that conversation I was then told I had to pay 6000HUF rather than 3000HUF, I worked it out and it seemed correct going by the rate on that day but I was annoyed that I was put in this position in the first place, there was nothing wrong with my cards, they all worked well everywhere else and my bank did not freeze them. This has never ever happened me in any other hotel or any other establishment ever. I just hope now that my card will not be charged as I have paid the full amount in cash. The reception is not a very welcoming place in general, the hotel needs an overhauling in the decor, there is a damp smell of must in the corridors, the carpets are worn out and needed to be replaced. That said the rooms themselves are good enough but I had to wash the cups again myself, the fridge wasn't clean and neither was the glass table....I have worked as both a receptionist and a chambermaid over the years so I understand the challenges behind the scenes but I found these few issues unacceptable
The room itself was fine, unusual decor in the room and no curtains on the windows was a bit unsettling but the bed was comfortable, the room was 'roomy' very good water pressure in the shower, very good wifi, everything you needed, so no complaints there

HungaryI didn't like the billing as I couldn't use OTP SZEP card and credit card (for shared billing), the room is a bit noisy and I booked an french bed but it with 2 single mattress so it wasn't comfortable. The lift wasn't working properly for call. And the breakfast would be with more variations.
I like the closeness between the hotel and Laszlo Papp Arena Stadion.

RomaniaThe bathroom had a broken door, which could not be closed, the shower couldn't be hung on the wall, you had to hold it in your hand during use, and the coffee at breakfast was awful. Poor breakfast, not for a 4 stars hotel. The carpet was old and a bit worn, it should be cleaner.
Location-near Papp László Budapest Sportaréna where we attended a concert. We could reserve a parking place for our car. The room was large and nice.

We stayed at this hotel because it is close by Arena where the concert was. If you are going to the concert and you are not looking for some comfort, this hotel is ok choice.

SerbiaThe street next to the hotel is noisy, even at night. The room didn’t have the AC, so it was either noise with the window open or being hot with the window closed.
