The swimming pool water was too cold for my taste.

The hotel is vastly improved compared to our last visit an year ago. The stuff is very friendly and polite. The food is delicious and the variety is good. The SPA facilities and the beach are awesome.

Wifi in the rooms could have been better.

Value for money, this place was hands down fantastic. Great food quality for breakfast and dinner. Accommodating to people with dietary restrictions and preferences (lactose, vegan etc). Family suite with lake view was stunning. Full programme of activities for adults and children was a bonus.

Gym in the hotel is poor, nothing probably changed in 20 years. It would be nice and not very expensive to add bench, bars with free weights, dumbells and some bars for pull ups.

Beautiful and huge hotel complex with private beach. Very tastefull breakfest and dinners. Room looks nice and was clean. Huge inside pool and SPA. Cool activities for kids.

Very nice hotel and good personals. In that hotel you can feel nice and vary pleasant. For my opinion that is prefect choice if you planning short (or long) holiday in Hungary. Tihany is nice, and position on the Balaton part give you personal peace... You can walk, swim in lake or pool and be better for next activities. Ujra meglatunk. Koszonom szepen.

No air conditioning in Hungary in a 4* hotel, only in selected rooms. We were not able to get any (tap water) with our meals for free.

windows too high, Interior design of the rooms and suite.

The Location is perfect, the Staff (All the staff) was very polite and helpful, The restaurant all foods were very good, breakfast and dinner. There is one thing, considering the price for a few days there in the Suite 656, I would expect a better Interior design. The Hotel is very very clean, but the Design of the rooms and the Suite are really poor, we did not feel that we were is a 4 stars Hotel. I saw that they done some renovation, but it is really "Cheap". And one thing really incredible is the height of the base of the windows, if you stand up you can see the lake, beautiful view, but if you seat on the couch you see a wall. The windows are too high, our kids cannot see the lake view unless they stand on a chair... I am the owner of Dalmoro Magyarország Kft in Budapest and I would be very happy to make some proposal for free to improve the design, because there are many new hotel now, and this hotel need a better feeling, mood! www.dalmoro.co

smoking area at entrance to hotel and below our room’s window. old fashioned faucet and shower. not able to maintain temperature and pressure. had to constantly modify it not to burn or chill my child. unfriendly staff, stiff and no smiles.

As stated in positive section it has been constructed years ago and one can see it. Most of the elements have past their top condition and require prompt refurbishment ar replacement i.e.: water slide has visible and standing out (potential danger of cut) screws holding water intakes, rooms' furniture is rather old fashioned, visible wear on every detail and every piece of equipment. We have witnessed wall repairs - surface paint, no information "wet paint" it was only secured with a dust bin placed in front... Another quite strange and not very pleasant fact is that one has to hand in a hotel card while enetering hotel's canteen - but there is that lady who takes the card and places it in a card reader. She is always there, sha hardly speaks to anyone, she has never smiled, very harsh experience. Languages - hardly anyone speaks English. They speak Hungarian, some speak German, English is a problem. But the biggest problem thay say they understand, one is provided a confirmation on one's question and then staff dissapears. Food - well, healthy low fat, no milk dish is a challenge. Majority of food is fried or grilled, fatty foods, creamy deserts, diet is not an option. Zoltan - want to take this opportunity to Mr. Zoltan - who made it easier for us and our kid and was so kind and prepared dedicated dish for her in the morning and in the evening. Without you she would have hardly anything to eat. Thank you!

Location by the bank of the Balaton like is a big plus. Proximity to the ferry as well. In general whole complex has been well though years ago - it has a hotel with inside pool, children pool, spa, gym, sauna. Outside water slide, play ground, kids' club etc.

The evening meal time very busy, crowded, noisy, not enough table for everyone, very unhealthy environment for a relaxing meal. Maybe to book dinner in different time slots to be considered.

Beautiful location, on a beach, good for families with children. Our lake view room was excellent and beautiful, very clean and comfortable, nice balcony and refurbished bathroom. Levander soap, cream, oil and shower gel provided by the hotel, also and excellent feature. Excellent breakfast at the restaurant’s terrace outside.
