It was suitable for my requirements travelling to the beautiful city of Kecskemét! I had the attic room under the eaves with views across the house top. It was simply decorated with a homely feel

No kitchen nor coffee machine in our flat and airco in the master bedroom only whereas the smaller room with the sofa bed heated up even more due to the large window front. We toured an entire month using many different accommodations, so I had probably overlooked this fact. However, the landlady's son was very helpful and spoke German perfectly. He allowed us to use the water cooker, the coffee machine and the microwave in the kitchen adjacent to the former breakfast room in the main building but not the stove or oven which did not help much since we had fresh produce... We had the only flat and heard from our local friends that in Hungary a "guest house" is a,different category than an apartment and usually does not have a kitchen nor tea- and coffee makkng facilities. Fortunately, we only had a short stay and could prepare our fresh produce at our friends' place, so it was not too bad. BtW, our guest house did not have a balcony or a terrace.

Wifi did not work well in our room but seemed ok downstairs. I did ask owner but he could not explain why. It would be the only negative.

Position was excellent, the parking in the court yard was really good. Room was clean , community kitchen was well equipped.

The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Really cozy and comfy place with nice backyard and parking lots. The guest house is in the center of the city and the location is great! I will be happy to book a night or two again for my future Europe trip.

The guest next door was slaming the door a little bit too lound.

Hotel was easy to find. The room was clean. I liked that the parking was in the yard and it all was secure. The host was welcoming and explained everything. Easy check-out in the morning/night for those of us, who wake up early. 5 minutes from the center and our favorite restaurant. :)

The location of this cosy place is really convenient, right in the centre of the town but easy to excess and very quiet. There is a private parking lot, which is very important if you travel by car. There were excellent facilities for preparing own breakfast and light meals. The staff is friendly and helpful.

You would have to call the host upon arrival as there is no reception. (You could probably also message them through Booking.com but I imagine calling is faster.) This could be difficult if you aren’t able to make calls!

The host was very friendly and helpful! The guesthouse itself is quite cozy. It’s great value for money for a solo traveller.

In case you don't announce yourself at least several hours prior to arrival, you'll most probably need to call the number displayed on site which can produce international roaming if you're not EU citizen. We needed to wait ca half an hour before we managed to check in.

The guest house is located very close to the city centre and it's great that a private parking is provided for all guests (even though we didn't use it as it's free of charge to park on the street during weekends). The room was clean and our host was very hospitable. I was pleased with my stay and would definitely return.

There's no reception and you have to call when you arrive. That might be a problem or simply expensive when you come from a non-EU country.

Really authentic and unique design of everything inside the accommodation. There's a kitchen with all the facilities like fridge, teapot, coffee machine and all the cutleries and beautiful tables on the first floor. But there's a fridge in the room as well! The room is amazing- bed are comfy, the bathroom was spacious and sparkling clean, the shower cabin was really thought-through, and there were also multiple towels provided for every life occasion. There was also the Wi-Fi and a TV. The owner was super kind, positive and caring- gave us a better room and made it feel like we could phone him anytime, even in the middle of the night, in case we needed something. I can't believe our stay was so cheap, amazing money-value ratio!
