The nearby church bells on a let us know it was Sunday and time for mass. But they were lovely to listen to and got us ready for the day.

Great location near Split airport. Also close to the harbour which has a happy relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants and bars near by. Very comfortable clean room with good bathroom. Air conditioning was great to escape the heat of the day. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Parking provided.

It can be a bit noisy at night outside, but we used earplugs and still slept very well.

Perfect location - 2 minute walk to Kastel Stari and the beautiful beach. Bus stop at the end of the road to Trogir or Split. 11 minute bus journey to the airport. The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. Delicious continental breakfast. Would stay again.

Only complaint was the early morning church bells at 6am but that had nothing to do with the value of the staff or facility.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Location was excellent, we stayed here because we had an early morning flight and we were only 8 minutes to the airport. The waterfront was a 5 minute walk away and there were plenty of good restaurants to choose from for dinner.

Villa Sol was in the perfect location for us as a stop over, not far from the airport and close to the waterfront

The fact that it was family run villa (B&B) the whole family made us feel very welcome and are very helpful. The room we had was very spacious and had a view of the sea. The breakfast is very good with a selection of cereals, fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs and pastries. They can also sort out transfers to and from the airport 10 mins from the villa, they can also book boat rides to the islands and excursions, just have to ask. The location was very good, a 3 minute walk from the sea and a short walk to the local beach with a beautiful sea and views. The local and surrounding areas very interesting lots to see and do as well, there are lot of small local shops and small supermarkets dotted around within 5min walk, take a look about the alleyways. All along the water front there are some great restaurants. M The main Buses stop at the top of the road a 2min walk and they go to and from Split to Trogir, Bus number 37.

Very spacious room and spotless clean. Nice with fridge and coffe/tea on the room. Very serviceminded staff. Breakfast was great. Close to the bus stop for bus line 37. Only 10 minutes to the airport.

The weather for swimming and the water temperature are too cold for this time of the year. We would love to come back in the summer months.

The location is perfect. Strolling along the promenade and the peaceful surroundings with fishing boats and locals going about their leisure time are a bonus. The walk to the promenade is less than 100m. There are small restaurants with excellent food along the sea. We did enjoy the calm sea and view. Ivan also transferred us from the airport and back thanks for your hospitality. Thank you also for the bicycles to explore the coastline and surroundings on our first visit.

I loved everything in Villa Sol

The bed corners were turned much outside the bed frame, which caused me to hit them twice and to get some pretty nice bruises on my thighs (after the second hit I learned to take larger turns though :))) ). The parking gate was pretty unstable and difficult to manipulate. Also, the parking seems to be improvised on an abandoned space, because there are a lot of construction debris and weeds in that space. The coffee quality could be improved, because the coffee machine had basically no infusion time at all. It was just pouring the coffee instantly.

The communication with Carmen was flawless from the beginning till the end and we had all the information we needed ahead of time before arriving there. The property is really special. Owners restored it nicely by preserving very well its authentic style, while making it very comfortable. The room was very spacious and cozy, combining modern comfort with traditional elements like a stone wall and an old sewing machine. No need to mention it was spotless clean. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had, featuring a nice variety of meats and especially cheese, many types of fruits, and everything else you generally find on a buffet breakfast, and not to mention the bread which was delicious... The location was perfect for us, just between Trogir and Split. However, it is just cross the street from the church, so you should expect the church bell to wake you up very early in the morning. Nevertheless, it was not a very noisy bell, so we were able to fall back asleep without any problems. The private parking was very conveniently located right near the property and closed by locker. We were there in October so most of the restaurants and cafes on the riviera were closed, but probably during the summer time the "Riva" is pretty nice and animated.

Nothing we didn't like. Older less mobile couples might struggle with no lift but there were rooms on the ground floor, or the hosts might help with the luggage.

The B&B style of the accommodation was appealing. The tv had many English speaking channels available. The location was great, very nice town and exceptional restaurants were close.
