To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Location is just next to the beach. My room had a private terrace so we could enjoy the view. The owner is friendly, has a small bar close to the house, with beer, home made rakia and wine, tomatoes... Split is 10 minutes driving.

GermanyThe room had too much furniture, toilet was a bit old and needed more light, there was no shower support for the shower head. It would have been nice to have two plugs next to the bed.
Location is amazing, the house is basically at the beach. The hosts were super friendly. There is a supermarket just 5 min walking distance. Was nice to find a kettle in the room for our morning coffee. Nice view from the balcony as well.

RomaniaHaving the beach so close is worth every penny. We went with two stand up paddles, and this made our lives so much easier. There are restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets really close to the Apartment, as well as a bus stop with which we could easily travel for sightseeing. The hosts were super kind, helpful and friendly, they made sure we felt ourself at home. Everything was as advertised, so we got what we knew we payed for. If we return to Croatia, we will come back here for sure!

Czech RepublicGreat location with access to the beach right in front of the appartment with beautiful crystal clear sea. Owners were very nice and friendly. From the appartment is easy access to Split or Omiš by bus. Restaurants and store close by. The whole place was amazing, surrounded by sea and mountains. I highly recommend.

CanadaThe wifi connection was very poor and not strong enough to load anything on your phone or load Netflix on the tv. Overall the room was clean but the shower curtain had a thick layer of mold on it at the bottom. The shower itself did not drain properly and leaked which was not pleasant. You have to pay €15 a day to use kitchen facilities. The host and family are nice and thanks for trying to fix the wifi.
Nice host and her family was very nice. Right on the beach and balcony was really nice to relax on.
