Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SloveniaIt would be nice to have a couch or something like that in the room. You have to pay for the parking, it is 10 eur/day outside and 15 in the garage. Should be free for the price you pay. Beside that everything was good.
Great modern hotel with spacious rooms. Location of the hotel is about 20 minutes of walking distance from the old town of Dubrovnik, however you have bus station right beside the hotel and the bus takes you directly to the old town. Around hotel are some pretty cheap restaurants. Breakfast is served in lobby, it seems like you have limited choices, but you can get anything you wanted, along with real coffee!

CroatiaHowever, if you're someone who likes to walk everywhere - different place would be a better choice, because there is a lot of traffic outside and it is not pedestrian friendly area (no curb at some parts of the road)
Very nice and cozy hotel, staff was extremely helpful and kind, great breakfast. Definitely recommend the hotel if you want to be relatively close to old city (3-4 bus stops), as bus stop is right in front of hotel. Beach is also few bus stops away.

United StatesNo one to help with the luggage. We also had trouble with climate control. Not user friendly. Check out at 11 and at 11:05 they were calling our room. We could have used an extra 1/2 hour. Especially since we had to move our own luggage. Everything else was fine. You have to Uber or take bus to the old city.

SwitzerlandThe room was a little poorly soundproofed. The breakfast was not filled up anymore after 10.30 a.m. and the waiters started to vacuum-clean around you, even before the breakfast time was over.
Very friendly staff, room was spacious, breakfast buffet was small but the food was good, breakfast until 11.00 a.m., reasonable prices for dinner/drinks (compared to Dubrovnik Old Town).

United StatesWe had a wonderful stay! The hotel is centrally located to everything. It’s about 20 mins walk to old town, 20 mins walk to the Promenade and sunset beach and about 10 mins walk to the Ferry and 20 min walk to the main bus station for airport shuttle. The front desk staff Anamarija, Ivana & Vanesa was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful tips. Their breakfast was also excellent and the friendly staff of Elen, Angela, Dominick & Kresimir 4th. 👍 We highly recommend Porto!

United KingdomWe booked this hotel having seen the photos and the price being reasonable compared to other options which were a lot more expensive. Breakfast was included too, which was a great added extra. But from the moment we arrived at the hotel, we couldn’t have been more impressed. The staff are so lovely! Couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, they were a huge reason why we enjoyed our stay so much. Our room was huge! So much storage, really modern, decorated really smart and clean. The only thing we missed was the view, with the location and surrounding buildings, there isn’t much opportunity of a sea view. However, this really didn’t affect our overall impression of this hotel and the purpose of our stay being a city break and wanting to explore Dubrovnik. The location, in our opinion, was great! The bus service was incredibly easy to navigate, just 5/10 minutes to the Old City. And we were able to walk to Lapad, enjoying a gorgeous coastal walk (we’d definitely recommend doing this - via Ponat Beach Bar!) The buffet breakfast was just what we needed, really fresh and we loved the coffee! We really don’t have a bad word to say about the hotel. We would definitely stay again and definitely recommend to anyone!

The breakfast was a bit limited but ok. I liked the location of the breakfast room, nicely in the shade and cool. The room was great, very comfortable bed and the balcony was a bonus. The location is on a busy road, but in the centre right next to the bus stop.

CanadaUnfortunately, the patio was in shade in afternoon and evening. We were there in May and could have used the warmth of the sun; on the other hand, mid summer it might be nice to have it shaded.
We stayed three nights and had a big room, with a nice balcony. Location was very good - 50 m from a bus stop that pretty much all buses stopped at. Continental breakfast was well done, food was good, and the restaurant offered some very attractive offers (e.g., happy hour). Regular restaurant prices were very reasonable, and the had a good selection of home made cakes.
