It was not as nice as the reviews. If the reviews were honest, I would of not made this choice. That being said, I may just have too high of standards and just came from a great clean place.

The owner. She reminded me of my grandma who is Croatian. I loved listing to her and her life there. She provided excellent info on Plitvice Park and what was around. I would encourage you to sit down and chat with her.

Rooms could have some cutlery.

Room was not hot even tho it didn't have AC, our room had seperate bathroom, near by was a store and hicking trails. We also had wonderful balcony and the owner was really nice and helpful.

For some reason the wifi kept disconnecting at times.

Cozy room with a balcony. Short walking distance to the supermarket, the lakes and the bus stop.

Clean basic room. 15min walk to the Plitvici lakes entrance 2 and 5min to the Mukinje bus stop. A market and bistro closeby. You can get breakfast for an additional 10euro. Friendly host family!

Small bathroom with inclined roof that doesn't allow anybody taller than 1.5 m tall to stand upright. Also the thightest shower that i've ever used, with a shower curtain that really wants to "hug" you all the way. No air conditioning (truth be told, it wasn't needed). No bug net on the balcony door, that would've been useful.

Oldies but goldies pension with nice garden full of flowers. Good breakfast. Iron lady making the rules. :))

small bathroom and pillows

The rooms were Ok, one was bigger with balcony, one smaller with window. Smaller one had a very small bathroom, tiny sink, but for one night it was Ok. Beds were Ok, pillows too soft. Breakfast was prepared by owners, it was nice. Location great, Bistro for dinner 2 mins walks, shop 5 mins, lakes few mins drive.

The interior of the accommodation is a bit outdated, however, really clean and the price and quality correlation is really good.

The accommodation is at a superb location to visit Plitvice National Park. The owners/managers are really lovely and helpful.

No wi-fi available upstairs, no air-conditioning. There was no fridge in our room.

Good location: close to the national park, shop, restaurant. Beds are okay. The landlady is nice.

It would have helped to have a kettle and towels. The heater was too slow and not very efficient.

Great location, the host was helpful with and kind. The room had a lovely balcony and it was quite compact yet comfortable.

No kettle in room though host provided hot water and mugs on request. Note breakfast is no longer provided though it is mentioned in some recent reviews.

Welcoming hosts..pleasant 800m walk to park entrance. Good value bistro for evening meal if you like pizza and burgers . Bus stop to Zagreb close by though not easy to work out bus times

Wifi was out of order, reading lamp was not working, because the wire was broken. A small fridge would be very useful in the room.

The room was quite simple, the bathroom was small. It was not entirely clean (leftover hair from previous visitors).

The accommodation was close (1,2 kilometers of which most was a lovely walk through the forest) to entrance 2 of Plitvice park. In addition, it was 200 meters and 500/600 meters away from a bistro and a supermarket respectively. Those are rare in the neighborhood of Plitvice park. Moreover, the host was very friendly.

Very close to entrance 2. The couple and the parents were very nice and welcoming. The room was clean and practical.

It's pretty near to the Plitvička jezera entrance 2. The room was so comfortable, and the owners were so nice. We missed our transfer, so we came late, but they waited us. Cooking is not allowed, but the owners prepared our rice and then even offered some pancakes.

Very small room for 3 persons. Single bed was not good. Curtains were transparent.

Host was very helpful. He explained us what to do in plitvice. Parking was perfect. I could leave the car while going to plitvice

The roof of the toilet/sink is a bit low for tall people.

The lady is very gentle & fascinating. Her son is very funny.Shower cabin ok. Cleaned & perfect position (if you take the footpath through the woods after 800 m you get to entrance 2 of the lakes. Breakfast with 8€ more (eggs, bread, jam, honey, butter, cold cuts, coffee or tea). Restaurant very close & pizza is not bad.

The bathroom is very cramped under a sloping roof which is difficult for tall people. Also behind the property were huge rubbish bins overflowing with rubbish this was not the fault of the property but did detract from the experience.

Close to the lakes. Friendly owners and close to restaurant. Breakfast provided at extra cost.

It was a basic room in a nondescript house - it satisfied every need I had (close to marathon startline, comfortable bed to rest after). It's a fairly unique location, so don't know how price compares to others, but I didn't feel shortchanged.

I was there to run the Plitvice Marathon, and being literally a 2 minute walk from start line, I really couldn't expect any more. Oh, and it was nice to be able to chill out on my own balcony with a few beers after on that evening..... essential after a marathon!
