Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustriaWe were sent to an address where we could find nobody and also couldn’t reach someone. Finally we could reach the co-host and she told us to come to another address to get the keys and afterwards sent us to another different address. We wanted to cancel right away when we saw how unkept and stinky the place was. It smelled moldy and the place was dirty. We left the place and asked for cancellation.. we never got our money back.

Cyprushe didn't have a towel for the bathroom. it was a very small one that we use both for the bathroom and for the toilet

UkraineEverything is absolutely not as described. First of all, you have to take the keys from somewhere else, the apartment does not write back, they do not answer the phone. There were only 2 towels (small and large) - we had to ask and they gave us towels through thick and thin. There was no hairdryer either. The noise insulation is terrible. The room is in an old house that does not close. It's very dirty. There is no basic soap. But the main thing is the light in the closet:))) No wifi, no hot water. HORRIBLE.
Location. Its all. I don’t recommend to anyone this property.

GreeceRoom is inside an old building, but almost every building there is old, but it isn't good maintained! Burned power socket, mold on the walls, AC broken.. the sheets was dirty and not even a pair! Furniture and closet broken too in some parts! Also for a double room there are only two towels for two people, one big and one small..
The room is located in the heart of the city, really close to the main square! We find it easily and there is a self check in process with a code system on the door.
