Love the hotel property, located right on the beach outside the balcony, huge rooms, bathrooms and balcony, great breakfast. In need of some TLC. One of our daughters staying in a separate room was bit by bedbugs which a major downer for us. Other than that our stay was great.

Room service menu is very limited, and could be much improved. It is not a real negative, but worthwhile noting that the old city is a car/bus ride away - about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. There is not much in the local area around the hotel.

The hotel has excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. Like most places in Croatia, the hotel beach is quite pebbly rather than nice sand. But it is enclosed and a safe swimming area. The outdoor pool is beautiful. All rooms have incredible sea views. Staff were very helpful and well organised. We appreciated that they had a room for us well before regular check in time, and we were permitted to store our luggage and use the hotel after we checked out.

The view from our bedroom was amazing - we so enjoyed our stay in Valamar President Hotel. All the staff we encountered were so pleasant, from check-in to Concierge (Nikola), to the lady who cleaned our room and particularly the waiting staff at La Mar Restaurant - breakfast selection was excellent also. Would definately recommend Valamar President for your visit to Dubrovnik.

Reservations system is terrible - no response to messages, booked us in for 2 people in each room when only one person, taxi to airport didn't show up when we left. No one interested and no one apologised.

Nothing really! Beach bar felt understaffed at times. We had a triple room but every day the cleaners kept taking towels away and only leaving two, even when hung up. But obviously not big issues!

The staff were extremely helpful, very friendly and polite. In particular Ladies at the concierge were excellent. Breakfast was great. The beach is lovely and nice to have the pool and terrace options also. The location is good as the no. 6 bus goes from right outside to the Old Town every 15ish minutes and with a Dubrovnik pass you can hop up and down as much as you like. Also only two stops to Lapad beach.

The beds and pillows in particular were very uncomfortable and they need more bar staff at the pool/ beach.

The hotel and rooms were beautiful, everything was clean, the pool and beach areas were perfect for relaxing, the breakfast in the morning was one of the best buffets I’ve experienced.

the only bad thing that I would say, if anything, was the short and pricy choice at the Hotel Beach restaurant

almost everything was perfect! the best breakfast I ever had in a hotel, lovely and very efficient staff, 10mn drive from the old city, the 'private' beach was amazing and my kids had so much fun! Both swimming pools are very good, and there is a very good kids club where parents can relax while their kids have fun. would definitely recommend this hotel.

We liked everything .

The hotel staff were so pleasantly and everyone seemed extremely happy with what work they did. Everything was just perfect! We loved the kids club . Things are so well organized. We had half board and the breakfast and dinner was always excellent .
