The hosts were the best. My girlfriend had a bad fall in town, and went to hospital with her injuries, and the hosts were really helpful in moving our luggage, and looking after her.

This room was on the noisy side, both from inside the building and through the windows. Would recommend bringing earplugs for sleeping if you are sensitive to noise!

Beautiful room with tons of charm! Located right in the middle of old town, there was easy access to all the history and beauty of Split. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming. He lives with his family right next to the apartment, and was easily reachable! When we arrived he gave us personal recommendations for the city, and he also allowed us to store our luggage with him after we checked out while we waited for our ferry later in the day. Please note that this apartment is located in the old town itself, which is fantastically charming but also means it is only accessible by foot. The streets are cobblestone so consider this with your luggage. It is also located on the second floor via stairs, which was no problem for us but might not work for those with mobility concerns. The air conditioning worked very well which is definitely important when temperatures are in the 90’s!

The beds were a little too hard but everything else was perfect.

The host was amazing, the location was absolutely perfect and the rooms were very nice and clean - they were just like the pictures shown! Would stay there again even if the beds were a too hard.

We absolutely loved this quirky little apartment within the walls of the Diocletian palace. The hosts were super friendly and gave us lots useful hints and tips. Nothing was too much trouble. Such a great location to base yourself in Split and the added bonus for us was a room overlooking the cat garden. Although we were in the centre of everything, we never heard noise at night.

Baldo was an amazing host. He was very welcoming and gave us heaps of suggestions about what to do in Split - he even took us to the airport at 6am when we asked about a taxi. The studio was very cute and perfect for 2 people. Location couldn’t be more in the centre of town. Would absolutely recommend this place.

I like everything. The location is in the middle of the Roman Square, in the lively old town. The host is more than welcome, friendly. The room was very charming and very spacious, the ferry is walking distance, the main streets with restaurants are 2 minutes away, the bus station and train station are 5 minutes away. I liked everything about this property

Djanovic was perfectly located within the palace and steps away from all the major attractions. The hosts Baldo and his wife were very kind and helpful. The room was immaculate and seamlessly fit it with the surrounding Roman palace. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, it had a refrigerator, stove, and sink. Excellent shower. The price was very affordable as well. We were very pleased with our five night stay.

Maybe proper shampoo and shower gel in the shower would be better as there were many empty bottles most of them were conditioners

Owner picked us up from the airport (very reasonable price as same as Uber) so no issues from airport transport, and gave us lots of information as he is a tour guide. Location is probably the best street in Split. Tidy clean property. Compact. Designed well.

The shower head had to be hand-held, which was a minor inconvenience. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Beautiful apartment, clean and comfortable and right in the middle of the old town. Once you close the windows it’s not noisy as well. The host was very sweet and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Rooms and Apartment Djanovic. Our studio room was very clean, comfortable, charming and equipped with everything you would need for making meals or snacks. There was a convenient coffee shop literally steps from the entrance to the apartment. The apartment is in a very quiet location in the Old Town and we were able to easily walk everywhere. Baldo and Nikolina, our hosts, were very nice, friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed. We would have no hesitation staying there again.

The studio is perfect for a solo or couple, its full of character touches, in excellent location in heart of the old roman palace, yet very quiet at night, kitchenette was all you needed for cooking breakfast or other meal, hosts are lovely and great value for money.
