Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandThe apartment needed some reparations (one of the lamps next to the bed was not working, and the shower drains were not soaking water, so had to be cautious with flooding) small things that you can notice, but nothing that could worsen your trip.

GermanyNothing we didn't like, just a tiny comment - every time the water runs in the bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) there is a very loud pump that switches on for a few seconds only. When this happened during the night, we woke up each time, because it was a bit loud (sliding door separating bathroom and room). And generally, the area is very lively (bars, restaurants), so you should not expect a super quiet area. This is not to criticise it, just commenting for the others.
The room is located in the last floor of a private building - super central, everything is literally few steps away. 10 points for location. We were in the center of all events :) The room + bathroom were very clean, we had everything we need.

CroatiaMore that things I didn't like there are couple of points to be aware of. The apartment is located at the very center of old town Zadar, in a historic building on 3rd floor. While that's so attractive, the fact there isn't an elevator can be an issue for people with limited mobility. Parking is available on public parking areas (for an hourly or dayly fee). However, it shouldn't be an easy task during the summer to find an empty spot nearby, in the center of a major touristic town as Zadar

The location was great, near the city centre and the sea. Hotel room was amazing, modern and classy. Everything was clean. Ladies at the reception were very kind and helpful, best regards. :) The only thing that could be improved was the lack of bottle of water in the room, also there were only 2 chamomile teas and 2 coffees. Other than that everything was great!
